Phoenix’s POV:

As planned by Aramis, Morine was executed, and her body was thrown at the wailing river to get picked up by the wailing brides. Morgana was left injured. She woke up to the wailing bride getting attacked by the warrior. The horror she witnessed was compared to nothing when she died their slow and painful death from her wounds. She kept yelling for the guards to not leave her body here after she dies but they didn’t care. This was the first time in over a year that they had received a body. So the wailing brides came to collect the body, and that’s when Aramis attacked them with the sword he made with graphite.

Since we had collected a lot of it before returning to our world, Aramis was able to make a few swords. That was the basic problem. Most of our guards were only going to protect and delay their attacks. After the wailing brides were killed, we knew they were coming.
