Chapter Forty Six: Bargaining, Third Stage of Grief II

Most professionals say that when we are coping with loss, it isn't unusual to feel so desperate that we are willing to do anything to alleviate or minimize the pain. Bargaining comes from a feeling of helplessness and gives us a perceived sense of control over something that feels so out of control.

"They are really gone, huh?" Dionysus exclaimed after seeing the once lively and cozy atmosphere of the Lavigne household was now suddenly turned into an empty and gloomy surrounding.

Sebastian and him were standing inside the living area of Zoey's former house for almost half an hour now. And, that was the only time Dionysus said something. Sebastian was starting to get worried again.

"Are you alright, boss? Do you need some tissues?" Sebastian tried joking around, just to lighten up the mood but Dionysus didn't bother replying back to him. Sebastian cleared his throat and blew a deep breath on the side.
