The new apartment

Adina’s POV

A week later and their bedroom was finally finished. Adina couldn’t wait to see it. The entire pack had kept its content a secret from her. Johnny had been put on lookout and had taken his job serious. As soon as Adina stepped foot inside the pack house, the teen was by her side and watched her movements.

It could have been irritating, but Adina found it sweet. She liked to see how Johnny had changed. He had become more aware of himself and how to interact with other wolves. Adina had even seen Rose going up to talk to him. Johnny always kept a respectful distance from the young she-wolf and seemed almost shy.

“Ready to see the new apartment?” Sean asked Adina.

They had been in her office for most of the morning and afternoon. The White rose pack needed a budget review, and Cernack had asked for a call later in the week.

“More than ready,” Adina smiled.

“Come on then,” Sean said, reaching out his hand to her.
