Despite the utter sleepiness, Ghino lifted half of his body and turned his sceptical expression at me. "Nathan, are you even listening to yourself? You're only making things worse. What do you think will happen to us without the pack? We'll become lone wolves. A lone wolf will not get any protection. I'm a half-cyborg. No companies will accept me. And worst of all, we were still studying. And you were used to an easy life. What can we accomplish by that?"

I only stated one idea to prove our love will somehow exist amidst the cruelty of the world. However, Ghino had already given me a million reasons that those dreams and fantasies being drawn into our brains can barely be given colours.

And it kinda hurt my feelings that we are not on the same page even if I believed we love each other. I'm only doing what I think is right. For both of us. Why can't love just be enough for two people to be happy?
