“Rebecca “ Mrs. Bella called as she entered the ward. Her eyes were swollen and red like she’s been crying for ages.

Lisa swallowed hard as her mom stared at Mrs. Bella angrily.

“I’m so sorry, Rebecca. I was so selfish. I desperately needed a child, that's why I did it. I’m so sorry” Mrs. Bella said as tears slipped down her cheeks. Lisa turned to her mom and noticed the anger in her eyes began to fade away.

“I thought we were friends, Bella,” Mrs. Rebecca said and then sighed softly.

“I’m so sorry” She begged in tears and went on her knees immediately. Mrs. Rebecca quickly closed her eyes. She hated the fact that Mrs. Bella was kneeling in front of her.

She then opened her eyes and stared at her for some seconds before she finally spoke.
