“I love you, Alfred. I do love you. Promise me you’ll be back” she cried as the rain soaked her hair and her body.

“I promise you, I’ll be back,” Alfred said and smiled at her and then turned to leave. He let go of her hands and entered the car.

He stared at Lisa who was under the rain and with that, he zoomed off.

“I’m coming for you, Andrew. I’m going to make you pay for everything “

It was morning and a Brand new day. Lisa had woken up feeling so tired. She didn’t feel like standing up from the bed but right now she didn’t have any choice, not when she was supposed to make sure the kids got dressed for school.

She missed Alfred so much. She was sure he had already left Singapore because his flight was pushed to this morning. She remembered last night, she had told him she loved him. It was the truth, she was really in love with him. He had promised to come back to her. She just hopes he keeps to his promise and comes back to her and the kids.
