CHAPTER NINE

Later on that night after my sister had finally gone to sleep, I snuck out to meet Thomas and Darien. When I got there, the first thing that Darien did was throw a bag of A negative at me. As I drank my bag of A negative blood; I realized it didn’t taste as good as O negative, but it would have to do.

“Now Tammy, while I was away I was having reports done on you. Both Darien and… another source both informed me that you were not drinking human blood anymore. That even when Darien offered you a bag when you invited him inside, you still refused it and kicked him out… Even after you told me you would start drinking normally again,” Thomas said quietly.

I could tell that I had really upset him. He wasn’t yelling or even looking at me, rather talking to me like I was a child in trouble. Which I guess I was, in a way.

“I was not feeling myself, I guess you could say. I… just didn’t feel up to it.”
