I choose you. And I'll choose you, over and over and over again. Without a pause, without a doubt, in a single heartbeat. I'll keep choosing you.

Chapter Six

A A R O N

"See you later man," I told Jesse walking off. He looked like he was going to faint anytime soon.

"I wish I had a free period now too. I really don't fancy seeing Ms Plankton's face right now," Jesse muttered to himself, before dragging his feet into his Art class.

I laughed moving on, free period without my best friend is usually a really boring time but I make it Aaron's time. The time where I'm all alone letting my thoughts wonder around. I could go assist the Coach or the nurse Lady or involve myself in one productive thing but...I'm feeling really lazy now.

I go over to the field but I see juniors practicing on the field, gah...I can't relax here, the noise is too much. I go to the library but I see the librarian walking up and down like a soldier on duty, if I go in here I'm going to get busted for not reading. I'm about to go out of the school when I see the Janitor, walking about whistling to himself.

"Hey, what’s up Gabe?" I ask him as we slap hands together.

"Doing good A," He says with his Texas accent.

"So is anybody in the pool?" I asked.

"Nope, all empty." He says.

"Ok, please give me the key. I'll return it next period. Please?" I ask trying to like a cute girl. Bella does it all the time, not always cute though.

"Ok, take it. I trust you." He said walking away after throwing the keys to me. I smile grabbing them and moving to the pool. I open it up, getting into the quiet dark room. The only light there was the reflection of the pool.

Just the way I like it. I moved to a chair, shrugging off my jacket I relax into the chair, stretching my legs in front of me and laying my head on my arms. Soon enough I was already drifting off to sleep when I heard the door opened.

"Damn it, who is it now." I grumbled to myself. I hear light footsteps on the tile floor and soon Noel comes into sight. I sit up immediately, what is she doing here? Well she certainly isn't looking for me now right. She walks to the pool and her back facing me.

I'm about to say something when she suddenly started removing her converse, then her jacket, then her shirt. My eyes widen. She's striping down, shit she doesn't know I'm here. I start thinking of a way to sneak out without her noticing. I look back and her she's about to remove her short. I sort of choke and had to cough. Maybe after I cough out, she would stop the strip show. She heard me then she quickly picked up her jacket to cover her chest.

"Is anyone there? Hello?" She takes a few steps around and I hold my breath hoping she doesn't see me. My wish happened and she didn't see me. I looked away when she was removing her shorts, then looked back and saw her running her fingers through her beautiful blond hair.

I wanted to do it. I so wanted to run my fingers through her hair.

"Here it goes, I'm coming for you pool," she says then shakes her body like penguin. I cover my mouth to keep me from laughing. Noel is just too cute. Then she enters into the water. I watch her swim and I get ready to sneak out.

But as my mum would say the inner devil in me told me to wait behind and talk to her, maybe tease her a little. And where did that get me... Wet. Soaking wet from head to toe.

.

"Dude what happened to you?" Jesse asked looking at me confused, other boys in his gym class that were in the locker room also turned to see me.

"Nothing," I said opening my locker to remove my P.E clothes. I was currently naked with only a towel hanging around my waist.

"You were soaking wet and you say nothing? Did a lone cloud find you or something?" Jesse asks, lips tilted up in a teasing smile.

"I fell into the pool," I answer absentmindedly, removing my towel and putting on my spare boxers.

"You feel into the pool?" Jesse asks as he starts laughing.

"Cut it out," I said. I wasn't in a really good mood now and Jesse's laughter was irritating me.

"So what's got your pants on fire?" He asked as soon as we exited the locker room.

"Nothing much," I say looking straight ahead, my lips in a straight line, my face etched in a frown.

"Nothing much, have you seen you? Spill bro," Jesse asks not giving it up.

I sigh, problem shared is problem solved right. "Is it possible for a girl to not be attracted to me?"

"What?" Jesse asks again, clearly not expecting that.

I sigh running my hands through my wet hair, I should have known. "Forget it, it’s stupid."

"Talk," he said with his am starting to get annoyed voice.

"Like it is possible for me to be flirting with a girl and she just," my face squeezed up as I searched my head for the word to use, "jerk away, and recoil away from me?"

"Tch, it not possible bro. Girls dig you, you should go into the cafeteria and see their reaction." Jesse says.

"But what if someone does?"

"Hmm," he scratched his chin. "Then it’s either you ate something that they don't like and your breaths stink of it, or you stink of sweat, or they just don't like you. Like they're into someone else, like me for example," Jesse says smirking and winking at a girl that was passing by, I roll my eyes.

My breath doesn't stink, I'm not sweaty at all, so it’s either Noel has a boyfriend or...something is terribly wrong with me. I see her relaxing on her locker smiling from ear to ear her eyes on her phone. She doesn't even notice me. She's probably chatting up her Californian boyfriend.

I move to my locker and slam my fist it, making everyone jump at the noise. My eyes travel to Noel and she also looked startled. As soon as our eyes met, she quickly turned away her back facing me. She's probably angry with me but right now I don't care. I can't get the image of her jerking off me out of my mind.

Why Noel, why does it have to be Noel that won't like me when a hundred girls do.

"What's got you all annoyed Altamira?" I turn at the sultry voice and I see Madison smiling at me.

"Nothing you can't solve," I say smirking as my eyes travel down her body. I pull her to me and our lips meet. We start kissing each other; Madison would swallow my lips if she could. I push her to my locker running my hands round her body.

"If Quinn sees us, she'll flip," Madison says breathless.

"Quinn has a boyfriend," I state, kissing down her neck.

"Yea but she'll still flip," Madison says. I move away groaning. It’s not like I was actually enjoying it, but with her talking it just turned me off. "Let's meet somewhere else."

I nod, "Donovan's house." She nods then giggles as she walks away. I turn to look at Noel but she's no longer there. I'm about to slam my fist back into my locker again but I see the principal pass by and I keep my anger in.

Whatever Noel is making me feel has to stop.

*

"Hey hop in," I say to Noel. I've already prepared and made up my mind not to speak to her again. I even skipped chemistry class so that I won't see her but seeing her here walking home all alone, my inner Jesus just can't help it.

She turns to look at me, "no thanks."

"Come on, I'm going your way." I say.

"You know I'm even surprised to see you talking, I thought you wouldn't have a mouth anymore after that ebony haired girl sucked off your mouth." She said sparing me a little glance before looking straight ahead again.

I smirk. "You were watching us."

"Who wasn't? It’s not like you guys were being subtle about it. That was the Hallway for god's sake," she said with a face that read disgust.

I laughed, "Don’t worry when I kiss you it would be in your bedroom or mine."

She made a gagging sound, "that would never happen, Aaron."

"Unless I'm dying?" I asked for clarification.

She turned to me, a faint smile playing on her lips. "Yes. Yes, unless you're dying. "

Surprisingly I've forgotten all about the anger I had towards her earlier, I mean she really didn't do anything wrong to me right?. "Come in, I'm driving really slow to keep up with you and I'm tired of looking up just to see your face."

"No thanks. Why are you even going this way? Do you live around here?" She asks, turning to glance at me before her eyes returned back to the road.

"I'm going over to Jesse's house."

"What? Are you their adopted son or something?" She asks.

I laugh, "Nope, I just go there sometimes, more now. I'm actually envious of Jesse's room."

"Why? "

"Because it's near yours.” I say sincerely.

"And why would you be envious of that?" She asks, her grey eyes looking at me confused. Her eyes are so beautiful.

"Because I wish it was my room you were next to."

"Why so you'll take a peek of me when I'm dressing?" She asked.

"No, so I'll say your beautiful face every morning and every night."

She looked at me, her cheeks turning a light shade of red. "Is that you pick up line?"

I shrug, "maybe, maybe not but it’s only for you."

She nods hiding her blushing cheeks. "Go pick up some other girl Aaron, preferably the one you were locking lips with. I, Noel Atkins, am not available."

"Why? Because you have a Californian boyfriend waiting for you?" I ask gritting my teeth.

She looks at me surprised. "No, no what's with all the dating rumors."

"No no?" I asked confused.

"Yes. No no, I don't have a Californian boyfriend or any boyfriend for that matter." She says.

"Really?" I asked smiling.

She chuckled, "Really."

Yes!

"Good for you," I say trying to remain calm.

"Goodbye Aaron, I hope not to see you again," she says as she walks into her fence.

"Goodbye Noel, see you tomorrow." I said poking my head out of my window and waving at her. She smiles shaking her head as she unlocked her door. "And the day after that, and the day after, and the day after."

I continued until she disappeared. I pump my fist up. It’s time to go home now. Jesse can bang Madison if he so wishes for all I care. Noel is single. I'm single.

That's just perfect.
