Aiden's fear was exacerbated by her response and his heart rate multiplied as he kept weaving his way in and out, slicing through anyone that tried to get in his way. Anxiety was eating him up as he kept searching for the alpha and he could feel a heavy pang in his heart. Where was she?

It took a while before he finally found a brown wolf, cornered to a spot, as six black wolves surrounded it.

The black wolves were snarling wickedly, saliva dripping from their open mouths as they approached the brown wolf from all angles.

They had her so cornered that there was no means of escape and the fear in the lone wolf's eyes was evident, even when it tried to put on a bold front.

It was injured too and was limp in one of its hind legs. A deep scratch was on its face and blood was dripping from an open wound on its underbelly.
