For more than thirty minutes Avelyn waited for Michael in the living room nodding off. It felt like her eyes were very heavy, and she was hungry too. In addition, her damp clothes felt uncomfortable on jer body, making Avelyn feel very angry with Michael for kidnapping her and ignoring her. The next day a golden glare burst through the open curtains, making Avelyn who was still asleep immediately opened her eyes while groaning softly because she felt her body ache. Stepping into a room with a masculine feel that the owner had long abandoned felt so different. The room was cold now. The winds blowing from the gaps in the windows were so freezing, instead it should have brought the scorching summer air out there. How long has the room been left? The answer was months ago. About five hundred meters from the main door of the hotel, Lean can already find the beach sand that becomes the barrier between the paved roads and the exotic shoreline. The sight of palm trees waving in the wind is the first sight Lean sees after entering the beautiful Balboa Beach area. After that, Lean can see various kinds of tourists from various countries sunbathing or chatting around the rented mats sold by local residents for tourists who want to sunbathe or just chat while enjoying the snacks they buy around the beach. Inside the car is only filled with the roar of the air conditioner which is turned on in the coolest mode to dispel the hot summer temperatures. Since leaving the hotel grounds ten minutes ago, the rental car driven by Lean had been silent and had grown colder. The two people, Lean and Avelyn, felt awkward with each other just to start a conversation. Actually, Avelyn was feeling awkward, while Lean was just letting Avelyn enjoy her nervousness. The dinner was actually going to cancel because Avelyn didn't come after Lean waited for more than thirty minutes. The man had even cursed when he almost lost his temper and was going back into the hotel to eat at the hotel restaurant. But miraculously Avelyn suddenly appeared in a state of exhaustion because she was running while fixing her messy dress. “The food at the restaurant was really good!” Avelyn giggled and fidgeted a little as she stepped out of Lean’s Vette. She was a little drunk from drinking two shots of brandy. Yesterday's dinner could be said to be going well. All night they had a nice meal, discussing whatever topics they liked, but without mentioning personal matters, such as talking about Elvis. Then before going home they took the time to dance with the other visitors in the live music arena that played stomping music as the night moved further and the wind was blowing harder. They needed to move last night so they could warm their bodies which were shivering from the strong sea breeze. Avelyn arrived at her beach house at twelve o'clock just after Lean once again took her around Panama City which seemed even quieter because some of the inhabitants had fallen asleep in dreamland. You could say last night's event was fun. It was enough for Avelyn to forget her frustration with Elvis for leaving her.
