Kayden POV:

I couldn't help but steal glances at our little mate in her adorable light blue shimmery dress as we talked to her father and brothers. Her blonde hair was tied into a low bun, and she had a rhinestone choker and hairband on; she looked like the queen she was meant to be, but at the same time, a pup that was happy with life, carefree, laughing and gouging her mouth full of dessert from the dessert table. Jayden and I had smelt her the moment she entered the ballroom, that beautiful honey and roses scent, putting ours and our wolves' minds in a haze. She was so innocent, so pure, so cute. Goddess, we were so lucky! Even though we both wanted nothing more than to go to her and talk to her, we restrained ourselves. We couldn't have people knowing she was important; dad was right. We would put a target on her back; we would die if something happened to our little mate. It was only a matter of a few years, we would admire her from afar
