Chapter 122

My jaw tightened as my claws gripped tighter on the ground. I stepped back, lowering my body while gazing at the three creepy humanoid wolves. They were standing on their two legs, and it made them look more monstrous.

I prepared myself for a possible attack.

"Calm down!" The humanoid wolves were almost laughing in my ears. I didn't know they could talk to us through the mind link. "You seem to be too threatened to us. Don't make it so obvious, I suggest." The humanoid wolf in the middle kept blubbering, sounding so boastful.

I glared at them deeper as I hissed. Fenris was looking much more eager. I could even hear his blood boiling so hard.

Fenris howled. "What do you want from us?!" He also spoke through mind-link.

The humanoid wolf on the left side chuckled like a playful yet annoying child. "You know what we want.

"We will never surrender to your greedy master, you asshole!" Fenris fired back while he was scratching his pointed claws on the ground with his sharp teeth showing.
