JUDE POV

Pain slices through my side just as I pass Elise to Jace and Ella. I grab hold of the side with the burning pain as I yell at Ella to go. I can see it in her eyes that she doesn’t want to leave me, and that in itself warms my heart, but I need them to get the hell out of here, so they will be safe. Hardening myself, I yell one last time for them to go, and they finally do, leaving me to help clean up this mess.

I turn around to see Mason pinned to the floor with the smoking gun in his hand. His wrist is now pinned, so he can’t use it on anyone else. Pulling it from his grasp, my friend moves off him but before he can get up, I slam the gun down on his face, knocking him back down and causing a gash on his forehead.

I hope you liked Jude's pov on what took place. As much as I wanted him to kill them both with his bare hands, I knew that I needed to have him start weaning himself from that life, so instead I let his friends have the messy job. The facility that they are being taking to is a figment of my imagination in which I wish there really was a place that took care of the lowest of the low when it comes to these types of criminals.
