I spend my school days trying to avoid Jace. Luckily, I only have one class with him, and that is last period Study Hall. Most of the time I skip it because I’m so far ahead in my schoolwork that the teachers don’t bother me about leaving. Grumbling, I throw the covers over my head to keep the sunlight coming through the window from shining onto my face.
