Chapter - 2

It was nine o’clock in the morning.

Sara Owen woke up from the past and lazily curled her body on the soft bed. It seemed that her hangover and tiredness were faded away and she was no longer struggling to escape. She opened her immense and beautiful eyes which were teary and swollen last night. Her vision was no longer blurred and catchy. She looked around the room and widened her eyes in surprise. It seemed that it was a five-star hotel suite. She jumped out of the bed but her injured leg and slight body ache reminded her of the last horrible night. She was escaping from that crowd and was saved by a tall young man. But… Where was she right now and where that young man was? She unhurriedly got out of the guest room and suddenly covered her mouth in a daze. Was it a five-star hotel? Everything was decorated in white and golden. It was calm and peaceful. But why wasn’t there anyone?

“Madam.”

Sara Owen stepped back in shock and looked at the beautiful young woman who was smiling reasonably at her.

“Good morning. I am Nisha.”

“Ah… Good… Good morning.” She was in a stupor.

“Have you slept well?”

“Huh? Yes.” She was rambling.

“Which bath do you want to take?”

“What?”

“I will make arrangements for your bath and also the breakfast you want to have. Please let me know.” She was polite but Sara Owen was confused.

“I have already called the doctor. He is on his way. Till then you should select the dress you want to wear.”

“But…”

It was unthinkable. What the hell that place was and why she was being treated specially? Before she could ask anything to Nisha, she saw the big portrait on the wall in the living room and she recalled the conversation with the man last night.

-“You said you don’t have a home. But I have.”-

Was she in his home? Her gaze slipped from his bright face to his name which was carved perfectly in the right corner of the portrait.

“Yohan Dixon?” She widened her eyes and swallowed her anxiety frequently.

The name was enough to make anyone flutter. Was he Yohan Dixon last night? She closed her eyes and the scenes reflected in her mind. She tried to recall that face clearly but it seemed that the darkness and dizziness did not allow her to see the man’s face. She opened her eyes and looked at the white face on the portrait which was calm but his eyes were dark and horrendous. His angular and smart face was addictive and his neck was alluring. She could not recognize the shape of his lips whether it was a smirk or smile or its original shape?

But… He was stunning and perfect.

“Don’t worry, Madam. You are in Young Master’s private villa. You are safe.”

Sara Owen turned her gaze and looked at Nisha in a daze.

“By the time you get ready, the doctor must have come. After that, you can stay here as long as you want, then the driver will drop you wherever you want to go.”

Sara Owen sighed helplessly and leaned back on the wall. She was the guest of Yohan Dixon, the most wanted young businessman. The chairman of Dixon Group.

Assistant Nolan was following 'the man in a black suit' whose long legs covered in black pants were approaching the living room rapidly.

“Sir, young master has arrived.” The housekeeper rushed to the living room and whispered. Bruno Dixon leaned back on the couch and closed his eyes. Natalie Dixon sat beside him and stared at him sadly.

In a while, the living room turned unlit and silent because he had entered.

“Uncle.” His low and seductive voice reflected in the living room and Natalie Dixon raised her head and looked at Yohan Dixon sadly.

“Ricky…” She cried and Yohan Dixon took off his sunglasses heading toward the couch.

“Ricky… I don’t know what has happened to your uncle. He is not eating. He is not sleeping. He is just sitting here for a long time.”

Yohan Dixon sat in front of his uncle whose eyes were closed. He stared at him for a while then looked at his palm lying on his lap. He held it gently and sighed sincerely.

“Uncle.”

Natalie Dixon winked at the housekeeper who was standing behind Yohan Dixon. Seeing the gesture, she went straight to the master bedroom.

Bruno Dixon opened his eyes slowly and glared at Yohan Dixon unhappily.

“What’s wrong, uncle?” He asked in his low and deep voice.

“I think I’m gonna die.” He replied weakly.

Natalie Dixon cried.

“Are you unhappy with me?” Yohan Dixon asked back.

The straight question made Bruno stunned for a while then he jerked off his palm from his grip and lowered his head.

“You only want me to be unhappy. You don’t even do what makes us happy.” It was a complaint.

“What can I do for you?” He was still calm.

Bruno Dixon did not have courage so he put an end to his acting and looked at Natalie Dixon to take it ahead.

“Why are you looking at me?” Natalie Dixon was not ready to act so she glared at her husband who betrayed her easily.

“Didn’t you want to tell him something?”

“I… I… Bruno…” She was angry but when she looked at Yohan Dixon, she smiled helplessly. Assistant Nolan widened his eyes after seeing the act of the elders. Weren’t they called here because Bruno Dixon was unwell?

“Ricky. I have something to show you.”

The housekeeper handed a white cover to Natalie Dixon and she took off some photographs from the cover. Yohan Dixon stood up quickly and turned back while buttoning his coat to leave.

“Ricky... Won’t you see the photographs?” Natalie and Bruno stood up from the couch but he looked at them seriously.

“I have already told you. I am not interested.” His voice was low but they were scared.

“We have sorted some beautiful girls for you. One is miss world. One is the actress. One is…”

“Aunty…” His cold glare shuddered Natalie and she froze.

“Haven’t we discussed it previously? Stop it.” He turned back to leave.

“She died years ago. Why don’t you forget her and marry a good woman?” Bruno could not hold back his feelings.

“Years passed by persuading you to marry. Every day we think of something different to induce you but you don’t even look at the photos. We are getting old day by day. We want to play with your children. You never listen to us. What’s wrong with you? Why can’t you forget her?”

Yohan Dixon did not turn back but Assistant Nolan saw his dark eyes.

“Don’t panic, Bruno. You will be unwell.” Natalie sadly held her husband’s arm.

“We both will be unwell and die one day but this cold man will never listen to us.”

“Bruno, we can’t force him. After all, we are not his parents. You are his uncle and I am his aunt. Let him live as per his choices.”

“Then we both will live as per our choices. Tell him not to come to see us in future. We can take care of us.”

Bruno left angrily. Natalie looked at the cold back with tears in her eyes.

“He cannot sleep through the night worrying about your marriage and my heart remains troubled. But we do not know why you can't see our tension.”

Natalie Dixon could not handle her tears and left behind Bruno Dixon.

Yohan Dixon covered his deadly gaze behind sunglasses and got out of the Dixon villa coldly.

In Dixon headquarters,

Ryan Jenkins sipped whisky and looked at the man who has been sitting in front of him while leaning back on the couch and smoking for a long time. His face was calm but the coldness on his face was deadly. He looked at the ashtray which was spilling from cigarette butts. He sighed and shook his head helplessly as he was not courageous to talk in front of him. It was their routine and there was nothing new.

After completing the last cigarette of the second packet, Yohan Dixon opened his red and heavy eyes and looked at the ceiling coldly.

“Is uncle seriously unwell?” Ryan Jenkins was a talkative man and a good friend of Yohan Dixon who never believe in words. After the silence of an hour, he finally asked.

“It was all act.” He sighed and looked at the empty glass of whisky in which he had drunk a lot before smoking two packets of cigarettes.

“How sweet! Again for marriage?” Ryan Jenkins smirked. Yohan Dixon stood up from the couch then grabbed his coat, left the cabin carelessly.

“This cold and dashing man!” Ryan Jenkins did not find it wrong because he was habituated to this situation. He put the glass back on the table and left the cabin.

The black car stopped in front of the October villa and the tall and dashing man got out of the car. His walk was rocky which proved that he was drunk. The black blazer was lying on his left shoulder when he lit a cigarette for him while entering the living room. The exhausted air due to the strong smell of alcohol became dizzy due to the smoke around him and he started unbuttoning his white shirt while stepping toward the stairs.

October was his private villa and he has been living here alone. Nisha used to come here to clean in his absence because he did not like people.

As soon as he came to the stairs, his gaze fell on a thin figure who was standing at the door of the guest room.
