what's your name?

"Well, I'm done talking to you" Kelly answered. She turned the knob of the door handle and left

"So childish," Mr. Brunnie said and sat heavily on the sofa.

Kelly walked down the street and couldn't find a cab to transport her as she had been walking for over twenty-five minutes. Mr. Brunnie's mansion is located some miles from the main street that connects other streets and towns. His house is located in a Government Reserved Area meant for the rich people in France. As Kelly walked down the street, she noticed houses with luxury exteriors. She hasn't seen such buildings in her life including Mr. Brunnie's mansion too

"Such a weird location for weird people," Kelly said furiously as she sat down on one of the raised bricks surrounding the garden along the street. Just then, a black SUV was coming in her direction. The car is heading from where Kelly was coming from. Kelly swung her fleshly hands in front moving it in an up and down direction, she is trying to stop the car. Seeing that someone is stopping the car, the car halted right in front of Kelly, and the side windows of the car were winded down.

"You again?" Kelly exclaimed as she saw Mr. Brunnie in the car.

"I'm heading to an evening meeting with stakeholders and I thought it isn't bad to be kind to a wandering lady that needs help," Mr. Brunnie said mockingly "so I thought of giving you a lift"

"To hell with your help, I didn't tell you to help me, did I?" Kelly answered pretending not to need Mr. Brunnie's help

"Well, I'm afraid you will have to walk for more minutes" Mr. Brunnie replied "walking will be of benefit to you anyways as you need to burn the excess fats in your body"

"You jerk" Kelly cursed loudly. She looked away from Mr. Brunnie and looked towards where she is heading, it is a long distance from where she stood. "Arshh!!!!" She exclaimed biting her nails

"It seems she isn't ready for the ride, Scott please drive," said Mr. Brunnie. Scott drove slowly away from her. It's a mere gesture to spite Kelly.

"Stop! Stop!! Stop!!!" Kelly yelled as she ran after the moving car. The car stopped and Kelly opened the door and jumped right into the car. The car drove away. The stress is over, Kelly's mind was partly at peace. It could have been fully at peace if not for the lustful Mister sitting beside her. They both kept their distance from each other. Mr. Brunnie can't sit close to her, he felt something tempting about the lady sitting next to him. He had never felt like that towards a lady. Yes! They say he has a lot of girlfriends but that was because he had Allergic Contact Dermatitis due to Cosmetics and none of his ex-girlfriends were willing to bear with him - that is not using makeup or any cosmetics. But here is a strange girl looking beautiful without any makeup. Mr. Brunnie had said Kelly wasn't beautiful earlier that day, but that was to make her feel annoyed.

There was so much silence in the car. Both Kelly and Mr. Brunnie made sure they aren't going to initiate a conversation.

In Kelly's mind, she is thinking of the deal, she knows she has to get so close to Mr. Brunnie enough for her to gain access to his room. But how could she be so close to such a promiscuous and lustful man who is always taking advantage of her? Kelly had never been so intimate with guys not even to the point of being kissed so she has never dated anyone before. She has suffered one form of harassment or the other, so she had the belief that all men are the same and are always trying to take advantage of ladies, including the Mister seating beside her, who has also proved that fact

Mr. Brunnie focused his gaze forward. He is not sure of what caught his attention but he is sure that he is not going to look at such a tempting figure beside her. He is sure that the lady tempted her, how could he take the initiative of kissing her when he is allergic to ladies on makeup? How? He was sure Kelly had makeup on the previous night. The lady is such a liar.

Mr. Brunnie and Kelly were lost in their thoughts until Scott suddenly pushed the brakes. The car jerked forward suddenly making Mr. Brunnie and Kelly uncontrollably hit their heads on the car seats in front of them and moved back suddenly and their heads bouncing back to hit the seat

"Ouch!!!" Mr. Brunnie and Kelly exclaimed

"I'm sorry" Scott apologized "I almost forgot we will be dropping her at the bus stop, so I had to hit the breaks immediately I remembered"

"Weird people" Kelly commented and alighted from the car.

"Aren't you going to thank us for our kind gesture?" Mr. Brunnie asked

"Well, you did what you are meant to do" Kelly answered with so much ego "after all you didn't compensate me for throwing up on me, so I will take this as compensation. No need to thank you"

Kelly left within a twinkle of an eye after she finished her statement she rushed to take up with the next bus that just arrived.

"Did you ask for her name?" Scott asked

"Her name? Who's interested in knowing a rude lady's name?" Mr. Brunnie answered feeling wronged by Kelly.

Mom, I'm home" Kelly announced as she entered the house. She looked so tired. Kelly took off her sandals and kept them at one corner of the house.

"My sandals needed some washing and I will do that after today," Kelly said to herself and sat heavily on the sofa.

"I'm coming, darling," Kelly's mom rushed from the kitchen and sat down next to her. Her mom hugged her tight. Kelly's mom patted her back gently.

"Dan and I have been waiting for you since yesterday. You couldn't at least call me to inform me that you won't be home yesterday I didn't even know when you left the house yesterday" Kelly's mom explained "you left me worried"

"I'm sorry mom." Kelly hugged her mom again "I will call you next time, it won't repeat itself"

"I was worried about you I couldn't sleep yesterday because I haven't seen you. Did something happen to you that you couldn't come home?"

"Mom, it's nothing"

"Stop saying it's nothing, do you know how worried Dan and I were? If not for your friend Natasha, that told us you had an emergency to attend to at work, I would have felt more bothered about you" She explained

"Oh! Yeah that was what happened, I had an emergency at work"

Natasha covered up for Kelly, so she also have to play along to prevent her mom from discovering their lies

"But Kelly,............"

Kelly didn't want to discuss this with her mom. Even if she wanted to inform her mom about it, now is not the right time to tell her mom. However, she just can't tell her mom anything about it.

"Mom, where is Dan ?" Kelly managed to change the topic "I haven't seen him since I came in"

"I sent him on an errand some minutes ago" Kelly's mom answered

"Kelly, why do I feel like you are hiding something from me?" Her mom questioned

Here they go again. Thankfully, Kelly's phone rang at the right time.

'Now is the best time to end the discussion' Kelly thought to herself

"Mom, I will go answer the call in my room and the food you were cooking isn't it burning ?"

"Oh! That's true" her mom left for the kitchen and Kelly went to her room. She locked her door from within, the doors in Kelly's house are soundproof, no need to worry if her mom will eavesdrop on her conversation on phone.

Kelly sat on her bed and took her phone from her bag. It's Mrs. Kim calling

"Good afternoon ma," Kelly greeted

"Keep your greetings to yourself" Mrs. Kim retorted "you missed work today, didn't you? And you didn't give me feedback on what transpired after you left the dining hall"

"I was at Mr. Brunnie's house, so I couldn't make it to work today" Kelly explained

"At Mr. Brunnie's house?" Mrs. Kim's stern voice changed after hearing that

"Yes ma'am"

"So, what's up with him ?"

Kelly explained what happened at Mr. Brunnie's house. It's a brief explanation though. After all, nothing special happened at Mr. Brunnie's house. Kelly didn't tell Mrs. Kim about the kissing scene. Just to protect her privacy.

"But next time keep me updated about the new development with you and Mr. Brunnie, alright ?"

"Yes ma'am"

"Have you gained access to his room yet ?" She asked

"Not yet ma,"

"It's gradual, we are heading to our goal soon, take care of yourself and your family"

"Yes ma'am, thanks"

Mrs. Kim hanged up the call. Kelly lay down on her bed, just then, she remembered she needed to call Natasha

"What's up Nat ?"

"Kelly, where have you been since yesterday" she didn't respond to Kelly's greeting "cause your mom had been on my neck"

"I.........."

"You were in Mr. Brunnie's house right ?" Nat guessed

"Yes, I was"

"Trust me, I covered up for you. I told your mom you had an emergency at work. I couldn't think of what to tell her"

"What you told her worked, cause she believed you"

"That's nice, so tell me what happened at Mr. Brunnie's house. Did you harass you again ?"

Kelly narrated what happened at Mr. Brunnie's. This time she gave a vivid explanation of the scenes that took place at Mr. Brunnie's house.

"He kissed you" Natasha shouted over the phone

"I took it as a mistake though"

"As a mistake? But you said his mouth is so soft that you just couldn't resist the temptation. That means you enjoyed it. So how is that a mistake?" Natasha countered

"Don't push words into my mouth"

"I'm not pushing words into your mouth, but you did say that in your explanation Miss"

"Can you just stop making a fuss"

"Fine, but you had better be careful with that guy"

"Yes, I will"

"Kelly, I will need to hang up now."

"Alright, bye"

"Take care of yourself"

They both hung up. Kelly dropped her phone on my bed and rolled to the other side of her bed. She slept off
