"Have a lovely day sir," the chairman waved at them, watching Mr. Brunnie and Kelly exit the office

As they exited the office, Mr. Brunnie interlocked his fingers between Kelly's and they walked hand in hand. He smiled ear to ear in satisfaction.

The setting sun bathed the parking lot in a warm, golden glow, casting long shadows from the nearby trees. His car, a sleek silver sedan, awaited them a few steps away. Kelly glance spitefully at him, but he smile at her and opened the car door for Kelly. He had to proof to the onlookers that she is his girlfriend, so he pulled up a good attitude and fake affection towards her.

Kelly gently slid into the passenger seat while he sat next to her. Scott then started the engine and it purred to life. They pulled away from the office building.
