6 Years Later

A cartoon show was coming on television and Angel, a five-year old girl was sitting on the couch, watch it. She would have enjoyed it on some other day but not today. She looked sad.

"What happened, Angel? Why are you looking sad, baby?" Vina, the nanny of the girl asked her again but Angel didn't answer this time as well.

From the time she got her back from school, Angel wasn't cheerful as ever. Vina could feel she was sad but no matter how much she tried, the little girl wasn't saying anything. She thought of calling her mother but dropped the idea at last thinking her mother would call her in some time anyway.

But when the call didn’t come as expected, Vina could feel she was busy. So, she didn't want to bother her. Instead, she thought of taking Angel out to the park to play and to have ice cream. She agreed to go to the park but her mood didn't get better. All she kept staring at the little kids at the park.

Sighing, she got Angel home and called her mother.
