52 || A Wild Guess

As much as Shane wanted to have a talk like just a simple talk with Lilian, he could feel it wasn’t going to happen. Maybe he should also stop. Maybe she had really forgotten him or just didn’t want to talk to him and that’s why she was playing strangers.

Shane sighed as he headed for his penthouse. Walking now wouldn’t do any good to him now he knew for sure.

It was getting late at night. Lilian tossed on the bed not being able to sleep. She knew she had the chance to come clean with Shane but she was afraid of his reaction. And now as she had lied to him already about being married, she wanted to keep it that way. Maybe that's the only way to keep Angel with her.

Lilian concluded in her mind. She turned to Angel who was sleeping peacefully beside her and held her frame securely. No way she was going to lose her. She wouldn’t be able to live without her. Lilian thought.
