51 || Panicked

Sitting by the window, Shane was watching the rain. He was supposed to take the flight tonight and get back to his town, his home. But the weather was just worsening with time and somehow he was feeling as if it was an indication for him not to leave from here.

Taking a warm shower, he tried to get some sleep but sleep didn’t seem to grace him tonight as well. He wanted to take his usual sleeping pills but found the container empty.

He knew he could have ordered Mack and he would have managed it anyhow but for some reason, he didn’t.

So, he left the bed and settled on the couch by the window. As he kept watching the rain, the last six years came back haunting him.

After Lilian left, he searched for her everywhere. Not that he started searching for her immediately though. Because he was angry with her.

When he thought of expressing his feelings for her and asking for a chance to start a new life together, he saw her with Simon at the park.
