JANNET’S POVI did my best to refrain from shouting at dad. It was early in the morning and usually one saw their parents sleeping or awake drinking tea and reading Wilfair Daily. But I had to witness my naked father sleeping with another woman on the couch. I blinked furiously, “Where’s mom?” “I don’t know.” he scoffed, putting on his pants, “She came home late at night and looked drunk. She went upstairs and then nothing…” My eyes widened and giving Skylar a small look, I rushed upstairs. I reached mom’s room and tried the door knob.
