03: Aurora

Of course, she was wrong. The person she saw wasn't the one she is trained to kill. That person she saw was her mate and his name was Andrew.

He was very calm and nice to her. He even asked her to join them at their table but a hard girl like Aurora told him no, she was waiting for someone and would like if she was left alone.

Her wolf was happy, jumping and was trying to take over her. Her wolf whose name is Diane tried to force Aurora into following Andrew but it was impossible.

When she got it that her wolf might make her do something stupid if she keeps on waiting for James inside the restaurant, she left and lucky for her, the car was opened.

She jumped inside, fighting her wolf back. "Stop it Maria, it makes no sense to me going back there and trying to explain to a human that he is my mate. He doesn't understand that type of language." Aurora uttered in her mind.

"I don't care, I want to be with mate. Mate." Her wolf screamed. Aurora had to force her back to her mind and then she was able to concentrate on things.

It wasn't up to two minutes when James returned juggling food packs in his hands. "I went to look for you, you should have given me headups that you will be returning to the car." He ranted passing her a pack and a smoothie cup.

Thank you was the only thing Aurora said to him as she opened the food pack, stuffing her mouth with the mouth-watering chicken Alfredo.

Who thoughts it would taste that nice to even make her moan? She took a sip of the banana smoothie and continued to eat while James drove the car into the city.

She cleared her mouth when she was done, thanking James once again for getting her food like that. "It taste good but not like the one back home." She told him.

"Yeah, food from home is always the best." He replied her and soon, they were in the drive way of the apartment owned by her mother then, but now, it is in her name.

Nothing about it had changed except there was more rooms and more tenants, which means she has to be extra careful with whatever she does. She doesn't want anyone to know her real identity, at least not now, maybe when she is almost done with her plans. "It doesn't age." James whispered, regarding the building.

"Yeah." She mumbled out and exited the car. She helped James, alongside two of the staff to bring out their luggage and they collected the key from the reception. "Welcome home miss." The receptionist greeted, making Aurora to flash a forced smile.

"You know, smiling more often will help. Loosen up a bit and make new friends, that won't stop your mission." James uttered.

She only gave him a nod, thinking about what he had just said. Maybe he wasn't wrong, maybe she should just loosen up before she finds her greatest enemy, Noel.

They reached the room and she opened it, giving way to the rest to pass. She stood by the door way, until the staffs left and James was waiting for her inside. "Everything was changed as you asked, I doubt you will get those memories and thoughts again." He said to her.

She took a deep breath before crossing into the room. The door behind her closed and she gasp when she saw the room looked. Everything was changed and she won't even said her mother lived there if she had not known before. She got rid of her shoes, jumping on the sofa and closing her eyes to enjoy the softness of the sofa.

"So, I will just eat and then help you unbox before I leave for my own apartment." James informed.

She had totally forgotten that she won't be sharing an apartment with James because she wanted her privacy, her father was against them staying together and James said there was no reason for them to sleep under the same roof.

But she knew he was lying. He was scared of what his mother would have done to him when she hears that he said he would like to share an apartment with me, he won't even hear the last of it. "Okay." She mumbled out.

"Thank you James." She screamed, closing her eye back and waited for James to finish his food so that she will unbox and rest more.

Travelling with a car is really not easy. She wasn't even the one that drove so she won't put herself in James's shoes, knowing he must be so tired and wants to sleep, but for her, he is putting up to it. He really cares about her.

It was noon already and James had just left promising to visit her a day after the next that is when he is done resting because his mind and body needs it.

She told him to take his time and rest because he really did try, he did everything in the house, he even cooked rice pudding for her before he left. To Aurora, James is something she will never want to lose, no matter what, he will be by her side, supporting her.

She was sitting on the sofa, surfing through the channels on the television but none ahd caught her attention. They were all reporting the news and she doesn't really care about what had happened until one channel that caught her eyes and attention.

The whole organisation were massacred, only their bodies was left and there was no blood left in them. There was a note attached to them which said to the government not to do anything.

No one has to tell her that she knows the person behind everything. It must be King Noel, the king of the Vampires. He is the only person that can wipe.oit the entire organisation and ask the government not to make an investigation on it.

But she is Aurora and in order to bring him down, she has to start with the mini crimes he commits. With that, she will be abe to get him red handed, with no way out and then she will have him for her revenge.

It is going to be as simple as that and in no time, she will do it. She found herself turning off the television when the news was done airing. Then she picked her phone, texting James and telling him about the news that she had just watched.

She would have called him but then, he might be sleeping and she doesn't want to wake him up. Her phone beeped and when she checked it, it was a reply from James, guess he wasn't asleep.

'How sure are you that it was the Vampire King? It can be anyone by the way.' The message said.

When she read it and read it again, it seems like James was trying to side with the vampire king when it is obvious that he is the one that did the killing. He is the only one that can do that.

Instead of sending him a reply, she switched off the phone and kept it aside. She left the living room to the kitchen, serving herself food and then she kept the rest in the refrigerator.

She would really never get tired of eating food made by James because his hands are really blessed. Even after attending a cooking class, she still couldn't cook like him and felt like a disgrace.

It took James a while to explain to her that it was okay if she couldn't cook like him. She has nothing prove to the world of cooking and neither does the world of cooking have anything to prove to her.

That convinced her and then she stopped comparing herself with James. "Damn." She muttered, putting the used plate in the sink and headed to the bedroom.

In the morning she would do the dishes and other thing around the house, but now the only thing on her mind is sleep and she can't even forget about the man she saw earlier, Andrew, her mate.

Not to lie, but she is really looking forward to seeing him again and then she regrets not getting his phone number. Going back to the restaurant is not a guarantee that she will get to see him again.

It is going to be a mere gamble and waste of time if you ask her. So she will leave everything to the Goddess to arrange their next meeting, just like she did for the first time.

She made the bed first then went to the bathroom to take her bath. She used a bath bomb instead of using sponge and soap to clean her skin due to how tired she was.

She stayed there, in the tub for more than an hour to the extend that the water had gotten cold and she couldn't stay in any longer. She rinsed off her body and wrapped a towel around her body before cleaning her feet, getting rid of the water and she went back to the bedroom.

She picked out a hello kitty pajamas from the closet and wore it over, then headed for the bed. She laid there, staring at the ceiling and wondering how her life would have been with her mother still alive.

Or rather, what was the reason that her mother was killed by the Vampire King because her father doesn't want to tell her anything. "Either ways, I has to get my revenge." She gritted out.
