78: Aurora

Sharing a bed with the vampire King isn’t something I had wanted to do. Never had I imagined that I would end up getting pregnant for the vampire king.

Weeks have passed since we had shared a bed, I could feel the changes in me yet I didn’t tell anyone. I don’t want to give anyone false hope.

And also, I have been getting some minor flashbacks that come with headaches which my mother had asked me to ignore. But I couldn’t just ignore it.

I feel like there is more to it that she isn’t telling me. And especially when she made sure she was clear about me not getting rid of the bracelet on my hand.

I knew it had something to do with my past which I can’t remember. But I didn’t push it. By the time I confirm that I am pregnant, I will use it against my mother and get every piece of information out of her. “What are you thinking of?” Grace, the maid which was later assigned to me asked.

I shook my head, smiling at her. Among all the maids here, she is the only one that genuinely loves me.
