Repeating Mistakes

A chill ran down her spine when he took his steps closer to her. Melanie gulped by watching him standing before her whereas his blazing gaze was throwing daggers at her soul.

She opened her mouth to say something but stopped by finding him removing the remaining distance between them. Melanie stepped backward but immediately her back got pressed against his car. There was no walking back now.
