Chapter 23: The date

*** Nora’s POV***

I never thought I'd get to the stage where I would plan a date for a man. Not just any man, my mate. I am so happy he crossed my pack the day he did. Today, I realized some changes in Leo's attitude toward me. He appears more at ease and welcoming than he has been in recent days.

Being with Leo made me feel things that I never thought I was capable of feeling.

"Do you think he will like it?" I asked my wolf. I was a nervous wreck. I didn’t know the type of date he preferred, so I chose a picnic.

"Sure, he will love it. Chill girl!!,........ Leo doesn't appear to be a picky type of guy," Nelly assured.

I nodded and heaved a sigh.

When we arrived near the waterfall, Leo stared at the mat and picnic basket on the green grass with little to no expression on his face. I couldn’t tell what he was thinking and this increased the level of my anxiety.
