Chapter 41: Arlen

Student Council Office.

“What’s wrong, Yris?” Arlen asked Yris when he saw the other frown.

Yris looked at Arlen, who is the only person in the room. Yep, Yris doesn’t count since he is not a person. As for the other council members? They have already left earlier after taking their share of tasks which they will work on in their homes. That leaves Arlen and Yris in the student council alone to do the remaining tasks.

Yris doesn’t need to travel home since he goes home to the Bardecks’ residence, which is just right behind the school, as their adopted relative. Meanwhile, Arlen’s parents are absent and his younger brother Raima would be staying at his friend’s house tonight for a sleepover. So, Arlen doesn’t need to go home immediately. He decided to finish all the tasks at hand, if possible.
