Chapter 49: Best Friend

Margin Academy, Friday.

“Raima. You are distracted.” Seph said as he looked at Raima who was in a daze.

Raima blinked and looked at the beautiful garden of the junior high school building outside the window. One would feel calm and peaceful when one looks at it. Raima, who was very shocked by what he found out these days, now felt his heart calm down as he looked at the vibrant flowers.

“Yes… I am. I’m sorry.” Raima apologized.

“What is bothering you?” Seph asked.

Raima looked at Seph, then hesitated. “You… I… don’t know if you will believe me.” He muttered.

Seph’s brow raised. “Why don’t you tell me, then?” he asked him.

Raima stared at him. “You… will you believe me if I say that I am some sort of a guardian?” he asked.

Seph fell silent. Then, he slowly nodded. “I do.” He answered.

Raima’s eyes widened in surprise. “You do?!” he exclaimed. “You really… believe me?!” he asked.
