27. Burning With Jealousy

His rage made me tremble in fear. He stomped his way towards me, grabbing my jaw with his hand. His face loomed over mine as my heart beat deafeningly loud.

“And why the fuck do you smell like him?”

I whimper, feeling the pain of his grip. “I…” I tried to explain but my fear of him was consuming me. “Please…” I begged as my eyes watered.

His grip loosened but his hand slid down to my neck and held me there. He pushed me against the door, the force made the door slammed shut behind me. The loud bang made me flinch. My back hurt from the impact.

“You are mine!” He roared.

“A-always.” I rasped in the midst of his hold. My answer calmed him down. His hold finally loosened as his hand went back to his side. I quickly tried to explain to appease him. “Caleb’s mom invited me for dinner.”

“The scent.” He spat with venom.

“He walked me home. We reconciled.” I said breathlessly. His face was emotionless, anger simmering down but slowly.

“Are you guilty?” He asked monotonously.
