**Elizabeth's POV**
*
I took a deep breath and twisted my head, not daring to look directly at it.
I felt something sharp pierce my skin, followed by an injection of fluid into my body. This sensation was short-lived, as only a second passed before I felt my entire arm lose consciousness. Soon my whole body began to go limp, and everything went dark before my eyes.
I collapsed, and I felt someone take me into his arms during the stabbing pain and dizziness.
**Caleb's POV**
*
As I injected the venom into Elizabeth's body, a pained expression appeared on her face. In no time she was completely unconscious.
I held her tightly in my arms, my heart about to explode.
I suddenly realized that Elizabeth was holding back something. This was not a sure bet. There was a third ending, the worst ending of all-No herb was effective against werewolves, and I w
**Caleb's POV***While I was extremely excited and delighted, I also realized that Elizabeth is a girl who is like a treasure. The deeper I got to know her, the more surprises I would find.I have to cherish Elizabeth. Those who made enemies of her, I would also regard as enemies.I curbed my smile and turned my stern gaze on Steven and Jamie. They all took a few steps back in fear when they met my unfriendly eyes.**Jamie's POV***I foresaw that once the old freak's herbs took effect, then Alpha would completely trust her and loathe Delta and me.I definitely didn't want that terrible shit to happen! So I stayed in this room without leaving. I wanted to find an opportunity to do something that could ruin the old freak's plan. Such as, switch the herbs, or poison her some other way or something. As long as I kill her early, then she will never threaten me anymore. However, I didn't anticipate that Alpha had already been on guard against Steven and me. He wouldn't allow anyone near t
**Elizabeth's POV***As long as I claim right now that I am the true savior of the prophecy, Jamie will be screwed. Caleb will definitely choose to believe me. And Jamie, she will pay the price for lying and for all the things she has done. However, after giving it serious thought, I wasn't going to reveal my savior's identity. It wouldn't do me any good. Once all people knew that I was the savior, I would become the focus of everyone's attention. I want to live a long, low-key life in the Poison Mist Forest. Only as an ordinary person can I live a low-key life.Besides, even if I didn't expose Jamie's lies, her lies would soon shatter. She never provided a solution to eradicate the maddening virus, and Caleb is not a fool. He will lose trust and patience with her sooner or later. What's more, I had already found the herbal cure for poison wolf's venom, so Caleb no longer had to fear the maddening virus.Everything went as I expected. After Caleb announced that Steven would be put in
**Jamie's POV***His words threw cold water on me. It meant that there was absolutely no possibility for me to save myself. As I watched in fear, Beta pulled out a small glass bottle from his pocket. The glass bottle was filled with some white powder."You don't need to run away. Just give this white powder to those crazy werewolves, and they will be back to normal."I widened my eyes in excitement. I didn't have time to think about why he had such a magical white powder. I just wanted to get it."Give it to me!" I stood up and reached for it, but Beta raised the glass bottle even higher again."If you want it, you must serve me and do my bidding from now on. You must do whatever I ask you to do. Can you accept that?" Beta asked as he raised his chin to me.I nodded my head firmly and repeatedly, "I'll do it! I'll do anything! As long as you help me to live!"To show my determination an
**Caleb's POV***"How dare you be so rude?" I reprimanded her."Alpha, I think you should also show respect to the Moon Goddess' appointed savior." Jamie pulled out a glass bottle from her pocket and showed it to me, "This is the antidote for the madness virus that the Moon Goddess gave me herself."That was incredible. The Moon Goddess gave her a glass bottle through a dream, and she brought this glass bottle to me in reality."I need to use it before I can be sure if this is the antidote," I said."Suit yourself." Jamie didn't look the least bit flustered.I had the three crazy poison wolves in the cage brought here. Following Jamie's instructions, a small spoonful of the white powder from the glass bottle was taken out and melted into the water bottle. Then separately gave them three people drank a bowl of water mixed with powder.Ten minutes later, the three men stopped howling like beasts
**Elizabeth's POV***"To...save you?" I was shocked and confused."I saw Caleb and the Priest talking. They both thought I was asleep when I wasn't. The Priest said that the mirror of witchcraft appeared in the scene where I attended Caleb's wedding. If Caleb doesn't get married, the original future may be changed. I may never recover my health." Carolina cried."I'm so upset that Caleb sacrificed his marriage to save me. I know he hates Jamie more than I do. I blame myself for that. I'd rather die than have him do that!"Seeing Carolina getting emotional, I hugged her to comfort her."There, there."I recalled the scene I saw in the Mirror of Witchcraft. It did show that Carolina was attending Caleb's wedding, but it didn't show who the bride was.If the original future would not be changed as long as Caleb got married, then..."Carolina, would you like me to be your sister-in-law?" I asked, looking seriously into Carolina's eyes. She was a little confused but more than happy, "Of c
**Elizabeth's POV***My words were like dropping a bomb on the calm wedding ceremony. Everyone in the wedding venue shrieked out loud."Oh my Goddess! She's crazy! She actually wants Alpha to marry her!""Alpha would never agree to that! How could Alpha agree to marry an outsider!""Ridiculous! Hilarious! Nonsense! What a wishful thinking!""You bitch! You shut up! You must be out of your mind! Get her out of the wedding right now!" Jamie was so angry that she was jumping around like a flea. She even forgot to maintain her false image of noble elegance.Several warriors came at me with weapons after listening to the orders of Jamie, their future Luna.Carolina didn't say a word, just opened her arms and protected me behind her. She stared majestically at Jamie from her wheelchair with her head raised, showing her support and championing of me by her actions.Jamie clenched her fists in a fury, the muscles in her cheeks twitching. She must have wanted to kill Carolina and me so badly.
**Elizabeth's POV***Standing on the high altar, I looked around the wedding grounds and could clearly see the expressions of all the guests. They evidently did not bless my wedding to Caleb. Each guest's frowned, with shock, confusion, and disbelief on their faces. They didn't dare openly disagree with Alpha Caleb's decision, but they still discussed it in whispers."Oh my Goddess, is Alpha really planning to marry that outsider as Luna? That's crazy!""Keep your voice down. I think Alpha is doing it out of desperation. He had to fulfill his promise. But he must not have expected this outsider to be so bold and greedy. How dare she proposes to be Luna!""Judging from her voice, she should be an old woman. She should be old enough to be the Alpha's Grandma!""Have you guys seen that outsider's face? I heard she's disgusting looking. She has scars all over her face.""Ewww that' s nasty! What a huge sacrifice Alpha has made! I think Alpha would have divorced her immediately after the
**Caleb's POV***"I'm smearing medicine. Could you come back later if you need to reach me about something?" Elizabeth hid on the bed, covering most of her body with the bed curtain."Do you need my help?" I took a few steps forward out of concern."Oh don't come over. It doesn't matter. It's just some medicine to make the old scars fade. No new wounds." Elizabeth stopped me from approaching in a panic and explained what the herb was for.I breathed a sigh of relief. It's good that it's not a new injury. I would have blamed myself a lot if she had gotten hurt during the time I left for drinks.Recalling the short glimpse I saw when I entered, Elizabeth appeared to be making a difficult attempt at applying medicine to the scar on her back."I think you must need my help. I'd better stay." I didn't leave but continued to move closer toward Elizabeth."Oh no-" Elizabeth panicked and wrapped her b
