The Martinez house Fenrir's POV I walked down from the jet after sleeping all through our flight, holding Zeev's hand as I walked down the flight of stairs. His hands tightened around mine, a row of black-dressed bodyguards already waiting at the ground They all bowed to acknowledge his presence. Jay on the other hand walked nonchalantly smiling to the men as he walked toward the black car that stood outside. Zeev and I walked to the car entering it as Jay sat to drive. " You can take a rest, it'll take some time before we get to our destination," Zeev said as he held me in his arms. I gave a small "mmmm" sound before snuggling in his arms. "I just woke up from sleep about an hour ago, I can't sleep anymore," I said sniffing in his smell." Alpha Zeev's POV I held Fenrir's hands as the happy smiles plastered on her face mesmerised me. I'd never seen her smile as dazzlingly as that before, the soft sunshine outside made her face glow. " Let me take you somewhere" I said, tightening my hand around hers, as I halted a cab. " To the Zeev's castle please" I said, moving into the cab with Fenrir. " Where's that," she asked as we got in the car, "it's a surprise, you'll know when you get there," I said with a small smile on my face. The window was lowered down, giving a more excellent view of the outside, as she kept her eyes outside. The sudden twitch in my hands that she grabbed surprised me. " What's the matter Fenrir? what happened?" I asked agitatedly. Her face was thrown in confusion as she stared outside, trying to find what I couldn't decipher. " I heard a heartbeat Zeev, a familiar and a powerful one, it sounded like one that I've heard before," she said, focusing hard on remembering where she had heard it.

Fenrir's POVI opened my eyes to a dark room, without a single streak of light." Zeev?" I called as I began to get fearful, the dreadful memories of the dark traumatised me and I began to shake violently. " No one is going to come to save you Fenrir, not your Alpha Zeev nor your maid, you're all alone here, " the voice in the dark spoke up again.I made no sound and waited to hear more words from him, trying to concentrate on his heartbeat to be a human or a wolf.My ears caught in the strings of his heartbeat before I was distracted by the loud barring of a metal.It was Alpha Boron, it was the same heartbeat as the one in the car and the small one I'd caught on to in Asteria." " Jay," I muttered before picking it up. " What is the matter Jay, I asked huskily. My voice devoid of any sort of emotion, I could sense trouble from the other end of the line. " Zeev, there is a problem here, Martinez and his wife have been attacked. " What happened, who initiated the attack?" I asked, removing my hands gently from Fenrir's body. " We have no lead yet, no one from Italy has agreed to it and it seems like they're telling the truth," Jay said, explaining the situation.
