Third Person's POV Two days ago, Ryder pushes the door open and isn't surprised to see the Alpha's desk full of paperwork, and his breakfast is untouched.Michael stands in front of the window, leaning against the edge as he stares out the window. For some reason, he keeps expecting to see Noah walking up the driveway. The Beta sighs as he sets Michael's lunch on his desk before sitting down. “You didn't eat your breakfast,” Ryder said and frowned as he sat back in his chair. “You know I don't have an appetite.” Michael's voice sounded rough and tired, and he was. The Alpha has barely slept the past two weeks. “Michael, you need to eat!” “I told you I'm not hungry!” Michael said, looking down the driveway a moment longer and then sighing when it was still empty. The Alpha turns and sits down and then frowns at the new tray of food his Beta brought him. Michael looks up and glares at Ryder. “You can glare at me all you want, but I'm not leaving until you eat something!” “Oh, f
Third Person's POVIt was a beautiful summer day in Michigan's upper peninsula. The sun was shining, and a warm summer breeze blew through Aiden's hair as he walked toward the orphanage. Aiden hummed a little tune as he caressed his stomach. His eyes wandered, taking in everything: the children playing in the playground, people walking to the pack house from town, and others sitting under a tree or on a blanket basking in the Sun. Everyone seemed to want to experience this beautiful day in one way or another. Their little town doesn't look much different than a small human town. It sits in the heart of their pack, with homes surrounding it on the north, south and east side. The west side of town opens up to the park and pack house which is where Aiden is coming from. In town there are several paved roads with little shops along them. Aiden loves the little shops in town. There are two coffee shops, one at each end of town. There's a little bakery just next to Michael's furniture sto
Third Person's POV “I, I'm sorry! I'm new at this,” Aiden said, his voice cracking as he spoke and the Alpha’s chest tightened. What Aiden threw, fell into his lap, and Thaddeus quickly grabbed it before it fell. The Alpha looked up in time to see the Omega's retreating back as he ran away. The sniffles he heard squeezed his heart tighter. Thaddeus picked up the paper in his lap and flipped it over. He immediately realized it was no ordinary piece of paper but an ultrasound. The Alpha's stomach drops. He had been so busy all day that he completely forgot today was the day of their first ultrasound. Thaddeus closed his eyes when he realized he missed it, and Aiden had to go alone. The Alpha opens his eyes as he raises the image and looks closely at it. His finger lightly trail along the outline of the tiny fetus, and his chest swells. He couldn't believe he was looking at an image of their child. It was so small, so tiny, so magical! Thaddeus looked up, but Aiden was already gone. T
Third Person's POV “Oh my Goddess, I need coffee!” Noah mumbled as he stumbled down the stairs like a zombie. He tried remembering the way to the kitchen and was surprised he made it there on his first attempt. “Ah, finally!” Noah said excitedly as he walked over to the counter. He reached into the cabinet and grabbed a coffee mug before sticking a K-cup into the coffee pot and hitting the strongest setting. Noah impatiently tapped his fingers as he stared at his cup, which was filling way too slowly with heavenly black gold. The Omega scooped it up as soon as it was done and brought the cup to his nose. He took a deep breath in, filling his nostrils with the heavenly scent of coffee. “Ahhh,” Noah said as he let out an exaggerated sigh.Noah heard someone laughing and looked over his shoulder to see the Alpha jerk looking at him, amused. “Someone likes coffee,” Michael said in an amused tone. “Don't talk to me until I've had my coffee!” Noah said as he put his cup of coffee down
Rewritten Michael's POV After Noah asked to train, my wolf and I were furious that he talked back and argued with me. ‘I'm an Alpha, and he's my mate. What I say goes, simple as that! There should be no arguing back!’ I had thought as I stood there glaring at the Omega who disrespected me again! My Alpha wolf was just as furious, if not more. His anger fueled mine, but as angry as I was, I knew it wouldn't be good if Max came out. I fought hard to contain my wolf. My body trembled as I tried to keep him back. I felt the moment I lost control of Max. It felt like I was being shoved to the back of my head as Max came forward, taking control. All I could do was watch as if I was in the backseat of a car. I watched helplessly as Max saw the moment his Omega's cocky attitude changed to fear. I could sense Max liked it. He wanted to punish Noah for being disrespectful. He could see how terrified Noah was as he slowly backed away from him. He saw the moment he became even more scared when
Third Person's POV Michael closed his eyes and took a deep breath. ‘Okay, here we go,’ He thought as he opened his eyes and leaned forward, placing his clasped hands on the desk in front of him. “Noah, this is your last chance… Please don't make me force you to talk,” Michael said, and the Omega's eyes widened. “What do you mean, make me?” Noah was nervous, and Michael could tell. He could hear it in his voice and see it in his body language. The Alpha hates it even more that it's coming to this… He doesn't want to do it, but he has to. “If you don't tell me on your own, I will be forced to make you. I am an Alpha, after all, I can make you,” Michael hated that he threatened him, but he hoped it would work and Noah would talk on his own. “What? You've got to be kidding me!” Michael could see the panic setting in and Noah's fear rising. “You, you can't do that!” He panicked, his words stuttering out. When he saw Michael's stance was unwavering, he knew the Alpha meant what he sai
RewrittenNoah's POV I slowly woke up feeling warm and comfortable. I nuzzled into the warmth before realizing what I was lying on was slightly moving up and down.Confused, I slowly opened my eyes before remembering what happened. The memories come flooding back, and I'm surprised I don't feel like freaking out, especially after realizing that what I'm laying on is Michael. I don't even need to look at him to know it's Michael. I can smell him; that's all I can smell: the scent of my mate. I slowly lift my head and look at him. He's sleeping with his head slightly tilted to the side and his lips slightly parted. For some reason, I don't feel like I'm going to freak out like I usually do when he touches me. And he's not just touching me; I'm laying on the freaking man for crying out loud! But instead of wanting to freak out, I feel calm and relaxed. His warmth is welcoming, and his scent is soothing. If he opened his eyes right now, I don't think I could get up; I don't want to. I
RewrittenNoah’s POV “Well, you sure didn’t feel fine!” Thaddeus said, looking at me as if he was trying to pick me apart piece by piece and decipher what really happened. I can see my father looking for the truth.“I know, and I wasn't fine when it happened. For a moment, I felt like I was reliving it. I could almost-No! None of that matters.” I stopped myself from going into detail with my Father. It won't help the situation; it will only make it worse. My father is very protective of me. Especially when it comes to my past. He tried so hard to erase my past and make me forget. “You know me, I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it. Really, I'm fine!” I said as I crossed the room, approaching my father. I leaned down to hug him and squeaked when he pulled me into his lap and hugged me tight. I smiled as I wrapped my arms around my father and buried my face in his neck. I took a deep breath in, and my father's scent washed over me. It was soothing, familiar… It was once home, but someh
