Chapter 5

"Zhei, where have you been? I went to the rest room but you're not there!" Kath asked worriedly as soon as she saw me.

"Sorry, I was lost while looking for the rest room." she then smiled at her while clinging her arms to Kath.

"Our luggage is already in the car, let's go."

"Okay!" Maezhei replied while still clinging to her arms.

"By the way, you won't believe who I just bumped into!" I told her.

"Who?" Kath became alert, "Don't tell me it's your scumbag ex and your fake sister?!"

"No, not them." I chuckled a little. She's more affected than me.

"Then, who? And please why are you laughing? Stop it." She said a little irritated.

"Haha sorry I can't help it. It's just that you still look like an angel even when you're angry. So, I really can tell if your mad or not." she teased.

"Argh, I hate you!"

"Love you too!" I laugh again. I saw her lips curve upward a little. I know she loves me too.

"Who did you met then?" she asked.

"You won't believe it! I've met the Deguzs brothers!" I exclaimed in excitement.

"Deguzs brothers, you mean..."

"Yes! Zifan and Zake who else?!" I said and didn't let her finish her words.

"You're kidding!" she said and looked at her in disbelief.

"Nope." I said then I saw her almond shaped eyes widen.

"So, you saw Zake?"

"Aha." I said while nodding my head.

"OMG! What does he look like? Is he ugly like the rumors says? How about his younger brother?" she probed.

"Chill," I laughed at her reaction. "And no, the eldest son of the Deguzs is not ugly at all! In fact he's the most good-looking guy that I've ever seen! He's super handsome!! Damn. I still can't believe that I believe those rumors about him! But he's, you know, snob. So, I don't like him. He's cold as ice! And I think he's arrogant while his younger brother, Zifan, is the opposite. He's a happy-go-lucky man. And he's also handsome!"

"Well, what do you expect? They're Deguzs." Kath said.

On the way to Royale Hotel, Kath and I just talked about the Deguzs brothers and some other stuff like the movie that I need to audition and such.

So, the one hour drive didn't feel that long.

Since both of us we're tired and exhausted from our long journey especially me, we didn't have time to enjoy the view and look around. So, right after I felt the soft mattress, I fell asleep.

The sky was already dark when Maezhei woke up. She sat on the soft bed and stretched her arms.

"I'm hungry," she murmured to herself while caressing her stomach. They haven't eat lunch so of course she's hungry.

And as if on cue, Kath entered her room, "Oh, you're awake, finally. I was about to wake you up to eat because it's already 6:00pm. We haven't eaten anything so I know you're hungry so quickly change and we're going out to eat our dinner."

"Okay, I'll just freshen up." she answered then went to the bathroom.

"I'll wait for you downstairs." Kath announced then closes the door of her room.

After taking a quick shower, Maezhei changed into a pair of black leggings and wear her long baby pink shirt. She doesn't have time to change into dress or something because she's really hungry. No. She's starving!

After changing, she went out of her room and she saw Kath looking at the off television in front of her boredly.

"Let's go," she said to get her attention then she headed to the door but when she was about to open the door, Kath suddenly spoke.

"What the heck are you wearing?" She said while looking at her from head to toe.

"Uhm, a shirt?" she said sarcastically. "Duh. Does this looks like a sack to you?" she sneered and then rolled her eyes to her but Kath hit her on her shoulders.

"Aww, why did you hit me? That hurts, you know." she complained while rubbing her shoulders. "Do you really love me? Are you really my friend? Why are you hurting me? You're so brutal," she sobbed.

"Oh please, don't use that acting skills of yours to me because it won't work and I know that's a shirt. What I mean is why are you wearing that? You're an actress for Pete's sake. What if they recognized you? You're a public figure! And please, we're going to eat in a restaurant not in a cafeteria or fast food!"

"So? What's wrong with my clothes? It's decent and comfy. Besides it's dark outside. They won't recognize me. Let's go, I'm really starving..." she pouted.

"Okay, fine. Then at least wear this," Kath said and put a black cap on her head.

At Royale Restaurant.

The restaurant was big and was elegantly furnished with a lot of space between the tables.

It's a new opened Restaurant connected to the hotel they're staying at that opens 24/7.

Maybe it was because the restaurant was recently opened that quite a few people were there to try the foods or because I think this Restaurant is expensive. But despite the sea of the people, everyone spoke quietly. Aside from the violin music playing in the background, there weren't any ear piercing, annoying sounds.

"Good evening Ma'am, do you have a reservations?"

"Yes. It's under Kath Verlice."

The waitress searched something on the computer then after a few seconds she guided them to their reserved table.

"I'll take your orders, Ma'am." A tall waiter said.

"What's yours?" Maezhei asked Kath.

"Anything as long as it is edible." she chuckled.

"Okay," she answered then started flipping the pages of the menu. "We'll have Balti Curry, Roasted Lemon Chicken, Spaghetti Bolognese, two Stew Chicken Dumplings, Shepherd's Pie, two Banoffee Pie, Fried Milk, and Egg tarts."

After she said those Kath looked at her with wide eyes but Maezhei didn't glanced at her.

"Is that all Ma'am?" the waiter asked.

"Yes," she replied.

"How about your drinks?"

"1 pitcher of cold water and two Bubble Teas," she added.

The waiter repeated their orders for confirmation, "I'll be back in 30 minutes with your orders."

After the waiter left, Kath looked at Maezhei in disbelief, "Are you out of your little mind? You ordered so many dishes! We can't finish all of that!" she exclaimed.

"Sorry, I was just really starving and... it looked delicious in the picture..." I pouted at her.

"Don't try that look on me," Kath said.

Maezhei chuckled, "Don't worry, we'll take out if there's left over."

Their table is near the glass window so, they can see clearly who went in and out of the restaurant.

"I'll just go to the rest room." Kath informed her then excused herself.

Maezhei nodded.

Maezhei was fiddling on her phone boredly but when there's nothing to see on her social media accounts, she turned it off.

She looked outside, there are tables outside and it was designed in a garden style because it was surrounded by flowers and some green stuff. The place outside is kinda romantic because of the lights on some of the plants.

Maezhei then glance at the young couple on the right side. The guy was wiping the corner of the girl's mouth using a tissue.

Few seconds later, their food was served. Maezhei was about to looked away when someone caught her attention. A woman in her red tight dress with a guy who was holding her on her waist.

Maezhei froze upon recognizing who they were.
