LOGINAsh's POV
The next night, I showed up at Andreas's private room exactly at ten PM, my stomach a knot of anticipation and dread.
He was already there, sprawled on the bed this time instead of the couch, wearing nothing but black silk pants that hung low on his hips.
"Punctual," he said approvingly. "Come here." He beckoned unto me.
I crossed the room, my feet feeling like lead. When I reached the bed, he sat up, his hands going to the hem of my shirt, already undoing my button.
"Let me," he said softly. “I want you tonight.” He gently whispered into my ears then he bit my earlobe gently. “And you're going to let me.”
He undressed me slowly, reverently, like unwrapping a gift. When I was finally naked, he pushed me back onto the bed, climbing over me.
"You're beautiful," he murmured, his hands roaming. "I'm going to make you feel things you've never felt before."
As his hands moved lower, I couldn't help but gasp as he grasped my dick through my boxers. “I'm going to kiss you.”
And then he did.
His mouth was everywhere—my neck, my chest, trailing lower. When he took me in his mouth, I arched off the bed, a broken sound escaping me that I'd never made before. "Please," I gasped, and distantly I heard him laugh.
"There it is.” He wrapped a tie around my neck and pulled me into a sitting position, while lifting my chin with his finger. “I knew you could beg."
That was a big mistake in my path. Horniness did make one act like an animal in heat who couldn't wait to be penetrated.
He reached for a bottle of lube on the nightstand, and my stomach clenched with a mixture of fear and want. I'd never done this before—never been with a man, never been with anyone really beyond fumbling teenage experiences that barely counted.
"Relax," Andreas said, his fingers gentle as they worked me open. "I've got you." He was surprisingly patient, surprisingly attentive to my reactions, making sure I was ready before he finally pushed inside.
The stretch burned, but it also felt impossibly good. When he started moving, I forgot everything—forgot why I was here, forgot my mission, forgot that I was supposed to hate this man.
All I could focus on was the pleasure building in my core, the feel of his body against mine, the way he whispered filthy encouragement in my ear.
"That's it, baby.” His arms wrapped around my neck, in a good way to while he increafed his pace. “You're doing so good for me."
When I came, it was with his name on my lips, my body arching against his as waves of pleasure crashed over me. He followed moments later, burying himself deep as he found his own release.
We collapsed together, both breathing hard, sweat-slicked and satisfied.
After a moment, Andreas pulled out carefully and scooped me up. "Come on. Let's get cleaned up."
He carried me to an attached bathroom I hadn't noticed before, setting me in a massive shower. The water was hot, perfect, and when he began washing me with gentle hands, I felt something crack in my chest.
We didn't speak as he cleaned us both, his hands thorough but not sexual now. When we were done, he dried me off like I was something precious and led me back to the bed.
I was exhausted, sated, and when Andreas pulled me against his chest, I didn't resist.
"It's late," he said, his hand stroking my hair. "Stay the night."
"I should go." I muttered, but my legs were aching and I wasn't about to waddle home like a duck.
"Should, but you won't." His arms tightened around me. "Stay, Raine. Just for tonight."
I was weak, because my body was still humming with satisfaction, and some part of me craved this intimacy I'd been denying myself, so I stayed.
As I drifted off to sleep in the arms of my family's destroyer, wrapped in expensive sheets with his heartbeat steady beneath my ear, one thought echoed in my mind:
I'm in so much trouble but tonight, I'd let myself have this. Even if it damned me completely.
Ash's povThe room went very quiet after Dante spoke. His question still hung in the air like smoke after a fire. Adrian stood frozen near the table, his face pale and tight. "Do you even know who took your brother?" Adrian's mouth opened slightly, but no words came out. His eyes moved toward the floor, then back to Dante again.Adrian's fingers curled slowly into fists. "You said you would protect him," Adrian said quietly. Dante sighed like someone talking to a stubborn child. "I said I would try," he corrected. Bella leaned against the wall with her arms crossed, looking unimpressed.
Ash's POVThe footsteps stopped behind us. The hallway went very quiet. I could hear my own breathing and the soft hum of the hallway light above our heads. Slowly, I turned around.A man stood at the end of the hallway. He leaned casually against the wall like he had been there the whole time. His hands rested in his pockets. His lips curved into a calm, charming smile. My heart dropped into my stomach.“Dante…” I whispered.Bella swore under her breath. “You have got to be kidding me.”Dante pushed himself away from the wall and walked toward us slowly.
Ash's POVArthur’s phone hit the floor with a small crack that sounded far too loud in the quiet apartment. He stared out the window, frozen, his chest rising and falling quickly. The yellow streetlight below lit the sidewalk just enough for him to see the three of us clearly. Andreas stood closest to the building, his shoulders stiff, his eyes already locked on the second floor windows.Arthur whispered something under his breath. “Oh God… no.” His hands shook as he bent down and grabbed the phone again. The screen lit up his pale face in the dark room. For a se
Ash's POVThe Pit smelled like blood long after Val’s body was taken away. Even when the crowd was gone, even when the music stopped and the lights dimmed, the smell stayed. It clung to the floor, to the stage, to my hands.I stood near the bar, staring at the dark stain that cleaners had tried to scrub away. Bella leaned against the counter beside me. She crossed her arms and watched the empty room like it might explode again. Neither of us spoke for a long moment, finally she broke the silence.“You look like hell,” she muttered.I let out a tired breath. “That’s because
Ash PovThe gunshot exploded through The Pit like thunder. The music stopped so suddenly it felt like the whole world had choked. For one second nobody moved. People froze with drinks in their hands and fear on their faces. Then screams burst from the crowd like broken glass. My ears rang as I spun around. Smoke curled in the air near the stage lights. My heart slammed so hard I could feel it in my throat. Someone was on the floor.“Move!” I shouted, pushing past two guards. My feet almost slipped on the stage as I ran forward. Bella rushed behind me, grabbing my arm to keep me from falling. Then I saw him, Val. He was lying o
Ash POVBella’s words kept echoing in my head as we rushed out of the warehouse. The cold night air slapped my face, but it didn’t wake me from the shock building in my chest. My feet felt heavy but I kept running. I had to. Dante was in danger. Asher was in danger. Everything was falling apart again and again, and I could barely breathe.Bella grabbed my arm as we reached the car. Her grip was tight, almost painful, but it pulled me together for a moment.“Ash, look at me,” she said.I turned, breath shaking. She looked scared. Real scared.“We have to move fast,” she said softly. &ldq
