Grief Is A Funny Thing
GRIEF IS A FUNNY THING, some feel the sadness inside them, and as a result, they can't stop but cry. They can't stop thinking about all their memories before everything went wrong, wishing how they had a little bit more time.
Harlow wished she was one of them.
She felt nothing, nothing at all. The numbness inside her was far more significant than anything she had felt before; at first, she thought that her body and mind had had enough of the unfortunate events in her life over a couple of months, and it was too much. Her body couldn't keep up, not anymore. Every movement she made didn't seem like her own, walking around like some Zombie, a brainless creature.
Maybe this sort of reaction was expected, normal even, but she couldn't help but feel like the watchful eyes of her Pack-mates judging her for it. For not feeling like she was some freak.

HARLOW STOOD THERE NUMB, with shock, as she watched the last vestiges of life leave the small body. Seconds passed flew by, Harlow knew that her Wolf was howling at her, urging her to snap out of her trance, but she couldn't tear her eyes away from the grotesque sight.
