"Your ex can not seem to take a hint," I said to Isabella as we drove.

"Neither can yours," She challenged. It was true.

"It is funny how we have that in common," I told her.

We were on the main road going back to the house and my foot had not left the gas. I was trying to get away from the party as far away as I could and Natalia if I could. I suspected that she was trailing us as I drove but she was not that crazy.

"Just so you know, I want to punch him in the throat," I told her.

A small smile played on her face as soon I said it.

"Now imagine what I want to do to your business partner," She told me.

"You have nothing to worry about from Natalia, she has been that way since we were kids," I told her and then I cursed inwardly. She did not need to know that.
