I frowned as I gazed at her; my eyes strayed to her good leg and saw she supported herself with a stick so she wouldn't rest on the bad one.

I didn't know where she got it from, but it was a brilliant idea. The leg would continue to heal since she wasn't exerting pressure on it.

As her gaze landed on mine, she waved and flashed me a smile.

"That's the lady everyone is talking about?" Magnus asked. "Damn, she's hot."

I glared at him. "Eyes off. She should be the least of your problem."

"Yes, Alpha!" He said, and I walked towards Allison.

"Wow, I don't know somewhere as this existed. And why didn't you invite me to the pack's meeting?"

"Why are you here?!" I scowled at her, ignoring her question.

I gripped her hand as she attempted to move past me. "Allison!"

I believed she heard the warning in my voice, so she turned to me.

"Ally. I don't know how often I need to remind everyone. Besides, I'm bedsore." Allison shrugged.
