Kyoko sniffled when she heard someone come in and quickly wiped the tears away thinking it was Toya. She stood at the foot of her bed and turned her back to the door trying to hide the fact that she had been crying. Her shoulders hunched up a bit when the bedroom door opened and her visitor didn’t say anything.

“Please just go. I’m tired and want to rest,” She said softly cursing the fact that her voice betrayed the tears.

Kotaro had made his way to the back of the apartment and saw the light shining under Kyoko’s bedroom door. Slowly opening it, he saw her beautiful form standing in front of her bed with her back to him. At her whispered words he stood in anguished silence feeling like his heart was spilling on the floor. She was dismissing him not even wanting to hear what he had to say.

He growled deep in his chest and closed the distance between them.
