Fifty Three

The car pulls up in front of a very quiet and deserted place, with huge gates that are literally so tall it reminds me of something, something I can't wrap my head around.

Before the driver would get the door for us as usual, Liam got out of the car and got the car door for me.

"Thanks" I grin, walking out.

"But don't you think we could have changed into something more meeting-ish… we look too fancy for a family meeting" I say and Liam eyes me.

"Family meeting?"

"What else would you call it?" I shrug.

"I just want him to see that we rushed over here as soon as he asked for us. He should know we're busy, but would also make time for him" Liam explains.

Liam's family are well off, from his father, to his brother, and to him. He was already a millionaire until he inherited half of his father's wealth and became the billionaire no one saw coming. And the fact he inherited half of it. Half!
