Tamara's POV

The ride to the court was quiet. I watched the city pass by through the window, my mind racing with everything that was about to go down.

When we arrived, I was struck by the sheer grandeur of the court building in Negaria. It was massive, with tall, arched windows and intricate stone carvings, almost like a cathedral. I couldn’t help but admire it, even if I was stepping into it as the person accused of attempted murder.

We were led into a waiting room filled with luxurious, padded seats and a long, mahogany table in the center.

The attendants directed each of us to a small seating box near the front, designed to keep the accused separated from the observers but still visible. Dante stayed close, his hand on my back as he helped me settle into my designated seat.

A few moments later, a group of servants entered with trays balanced expertly in their hands.

I noticed right away that they were dressed in form-fitting uniforms, the fabric clinging to their curve

Ivonne's POV The water was still running when I realized my hands still wouldn’t stop shaking. No matter how much I scrubbed, no matter how hot the water got, I could still feel it—sticky, heavy, wrong. Blood that wasn’t supposed to be on me. Blood I couldn’t explain. “Ivonne,” Hector said softly behind me. I flinched. He reached forward and gently turned off the tap, then took my wrists before I could pull away. His hands were warm, steady, grounding. He examined my palms, my fingers, the faint red marks that refused to fade no matter how hard I’d scrubbed. He lifted my chin. “Tell me again what happened.” My chest tightened. “I already told you,” I said, my voice coming out thin and brittle. “I don’t remember. I don’t remember anything.” His jaw tightened slightly. He sighed—not in anger, but in exhaustion. Like today had carved something deep into him too. The sound hurt more than if he’d shouted. “So you don’t believe me,” I said quietly. Hector’s head snapped up. “Th

Ivonne's POV I barely had time to suck in a breath before Elara’s scream turned feral. It wasn’t just fear on her face. It was rage, grief, and something raw and animal that ripped straight through my skull. “She killed them!” Elara screamed as she spun and bolted out of the room. “She killed them—help! Murder!” “No—Elara, wait!” I scrambled to my feet, slipping in blood, my heart trying to punch its way out of my chest. “Please... wait—listen to me!” But She didn’t slow down. I chased after her into the hallway, my bare feet slapping against the marble floor, my voice cracking as I ran. “I don’t know what happened! I woke up like that—I swear—” “Stay the fuck away from me!” Elara sobbed, shoving open the main hall doors. “Everyone! Someone help! Tessa—Solenne—” Her scream echoed through the manor like an alarm. Doors flew open. Servants rushed out, half-dressed, confused, some sleepy—until their eyes landed on me. On my hands. On the blood. Gasps rippled through the hal

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    A calamity

Ivonne's POV The liquid burned on the way down—hot, sharp, and smoky, like it carried fire in it instead of alcohol. I coughed softly and cleared my throat.Tessa immediately clapped her hands, laughing. “There you go! Look at you. You’re becoming more Lycan by the day.”I shot her a look. “Let’s not get carried away.”She grinned and raised her own cup. “Cheers to that.” She drank deeply, far less cautious than I was, and then nudged her cup toward me. “Come on, one more.”I shook my head quickly. “Nope. Absolutely not.”Her smile softened. “Still worried about what happened last time?”“Yes,” I said without hesitation. “Very.”Tessa nodded, understanding immediately. “That makes sense. You don’t handle Lycan mead the way we do. You went pale last time.”“And then everything went to hell,” I muttered. She sighed and leaned back. “Fair.”For a moment, we just sat there in silence, the air heavy with everything unsaid. Then Tessa glanced at me carefully.“So… has Hector made any progr

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Telling the concubines

Ivonne's POV Tessa practically lit up the moment she saw me. “Ivonne,” she said, pushing herself up from the chair so quickly it scraped against the floor. “You finally came, it's been so long since you came to our rooms.” Her smile was so genuine it made my chest ache a little. I hadn’t realized how long it had been since I’d stepped foot in their rooms until now. Between the arrest, attack, Hector, the investigation, and everything spiraling out of control, I’d unintentionally disappeared from our blooming friendship. “I know,” I said softly. “I’m sorry. Things have been… chaotic.” Tessa waved it off, already moving closer. “We figured. Elara kept saying you were probably being buried under co president duties.” I glanced at Elara. She didn’t smile. She sat on the edge of the bed, arms crossed, posture rigid. Her expression was polite in the way that wasn’t polite at all — tight lips, guarded eyes, the kind of look that said she was bracing for bad news. My nerves flared.

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance     A Luna's duty

Ivonne's POV I woke up deliciously warm today. And it was Not the vague, fleeting warmth of blankets or sunlight—but the solid, steady kind that came from being held by someone. An arm was wrapped around my waist, firm and possessive in a way that didn’t feel suffocating at all. My back was pressed to a broad chest, and for a second, before my mind fully caught up, I just lay there and breathed. Then it hit me.All the things Hector had said to me yesterday. The kiss or kisses we shared. The confessions. The way he’d looked at me like he’d finally stopped holding himself back.Hector and I were officially together nowMy heart did a small, foolish flip.I shifted slightly, careful not to wake him, and felt his grip tighten automatically, like his body had decided I belonged right there even while he slept. It made my lips curve into a soft, stunned smile.I was still shocked. But happy.Dangerously happy.I tilted my head just enough to look at him. Even asleep, Hector looked intens

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Kissing Hector

Ivonne's POV I was still lost in the kiss when his hands began to move over my body in the most delicious way.He wasnt pushy or inappropriate, his touches were warm, grounding, trailing down my arms, my waist and pulling me closer like he was afraid I’d disappear if he loosened his hold. It made my head spin anyway.I kissed him back without thinking, fervent and clumsy and honest. Everything I’d been holding in spilled out through that kiss— all my fear, relief, longing, disbelief poured through the kiss. His breath hitched, and that tiny sound alone made my knees weak.We stumbled, half-laughing, half-breathless, until the back of my legs hit the bed. I didn’t even remember sitting down. One second I was standing, the next I was sinking into soft sheets with him hovering over me, his forehead resting against mine.I suddenly remembered how nice kissing was. No—how delicious it was.I hadnt even realized i had forgotten the feeling. I had forgotten How it made the world quiet. How
