Tamara's POV

I woke up groggily, my head pounding as I tried to make sense of my surroundings. The first thing I noticed was the faint smell of antiseptic in the air, the sterile cleanliness of a clinic. The room was dimly lit, and I blinked several times, trying to shake off the drowsiness clinging to me like a heavy fog.

Where the hell am I?

The bed I was lying on was firm, not entirely uncomfortable, but foreign. I definitely wasn’t in my own room. My body ached slightly, a dull pain radiating from my side. Slowly, I moved my hand down to the source of the pain, the memory of being stabbed rushing back to me.

The attack. The men. The blood.

I tried to sit up but felt a wave of dizziness hit me like a brick wall. Just as I managed to push myself up, a young woman in a white nurse’s uniform hurried over, her expression one of concern. She placed her hands gently on my shoulders and urged me to lie back down.

“You shouldn’t be getting up,” she said, her voice soft but firm. “You need

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    The meeting

3rd povElder Marcellus moved like a shadow under the pale glow of the moon, his heart hammering in his chest. Every step was calculated, silent, careful not to scrape a stone or knock over a stray object that might give him away. The corridors of the Lycan realm were quiet, save for the occasional distant snore or shuffle from a guard, but he knew better than to trust the night. Hector’s vigilance had tightened after Ivonne’s ordeal; guards patrolled more often, more strategically, and it made even a simple stroll treacherous.Marcellus’s palms were slick with sweat as he pressed himself against the cool stone walls, darting a glance down the hall. A guard’s shadow stretched across the corridor ahead.Damn it.He froze, holding his breath, and timed his movement with the guard’s passing. The sentry’s eyes scanned methodically, but Marcellus let his noble rank shine through—subtle gestures, a tilt of his head, a feigned calm. The guard hesitated, recognition flickering, and then with

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Respect

IVONNE’S POVI woke to the soft morning light streaming through the palace windows, warm and golden, brushing over my face. My head rested on Hector’s chest, the rise and fall of him steady and comforting. I blinked a few times, trying to process the calm after the storm of the last few days.“Good morning,” Hector murmured, pressing a kiss to my temple. His voice was still thick with sleep and relief. “You finally decided to wake up.”I smiled, still groggy, and snuggled closer. “Morning… feels… good,” I mumbled, yawning. Before I could fully enjoy the quiet, a soft knock echoed from the door. Hector’s arms tightened around me, and he groaned. “Who could that be this early?”“Maybe it’s important,” I said, attempting to sit up.“Not so fast,” Hector said firmly, gently pushing me back against his chest. “You’re staying right here. I won’t let anyone see you half-asleep like this.”I huffed, feeling both annoyed and secretly grateful. “I’m fine! I can get up.”“Nope,” he replied, arms

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    End of peace

IVONNE’S POVWhen it started getting dark, Hector led me back to the palace, and I couldn’t help but marvel at how different everything felt. Even though we’d been here before, today the place seemed warmer, softer somehow. The corridors were quiet, but the air hummed with… respect? We reached our room, and he ushered me inside. A light dinner had been prepared—bread, fruits, cheese, and some honeyed meat. It wasn’t fancy, but it looked inviting, and for the first time in what felt like ages, I didn’t care about appearances. As I stepped in, I noticed something odd. The Lycans—those who usually eyed me with suspicion or outright hostility—were bowing as we passed. Their expressions weren’t wary or jealous; they were smiling. Even a few bowed very low respectfully as if acknowledging something I had done.I stopped in my tracks, confused. “Hector… why are they… smiling at me? and Bowing so low?”He smiled, leaning down to kiss my forehead. “Stories of what you did have spread, Ivonne.

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Her peace

IVONNE’S POVI slowly blinked awake, squinting as the morning light poured through the tall windows. The warmth of the sun hit my face, but it wasn’t the light that made me pause. It was the steady pressure of someone holding me—someone familiar.“Hector?” My voice was hoarse, barely above a whisper.“Morning, beautiful,” came the reply, low and teasing. I felt his lips brush mine in the softest of kisses, and then—he started kissing me all over. My hands, my cheeks, my lips. He was excited, full of energy, and every time his lips touched mine, a little thrill ran through my body.I sat up, blinking in shock. “Wait… wait a second.” I pulled back a little, my hands on his chest. “You’re… healed? Completely?”Hector grinned, running his hands through his hair. “Completely. Not a scratch, not a bruise. I was fully fine the moment you woke up. Don’t act like you didn’t miss me holding you all these days.”I shook my head, still stunned. “You’re… okay… really okay?”He cupped my face, lean

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    The original ivonne

IVONNE’S POVI blink at the familiar voice as, the white haze around me dissolves like mist over a river at dawn.My body feels heavy, but not in the way of exhaustion. More like… weightless, like I’m floating in a dream. I turn, half-expecting to see Hector’s bloodied face—or someone, anyone i know—standing behind me.Instead, I freeze.Because A figure stands there. But its Not my mother. Not any other person I recognize. Instead, it’s me.Or at least, a version of me. But this version glows. Golden, ethereal clothes drape her like sunlight, shimmering with an energy I can’t describe. Her hair is the same as mine, but brighter, with strands that seem to move as if alive. And her eyes… silver. Pure, molten silver.I step back, wobbling. “Wha… what—who are you? Are… are you me?”She tilts her head, a smile that’s equal parts cruel and teasing curling her lips. “Who knows? Are you dead?”My stomach lurches. “Dead?!”She laughs, the sound ringing like wind chimes in a storm. “Relax, I’

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Penance, pain and sacrifice

IVONNE’S POVAfter i volunteer myself, For a moment, nobody moves. The world is holding its breath, hanging on the edge of a knife. Then—A warm, trembling hand wraps around mine“Ivonne please— no.” Hector’s voice is shredded, like his throat is made of broken glass. He pulls, weak but desperate, trying to drag me back to him. “I won’t let you do this.”I glance down at him. His face is ashen, sweat beading at his temples, the stain of blood creeping through his shirt again where the wound refuses to seal. Viera and her brothers are still kneeling beside him, pouring faint blue light into his chest, trying to keep him conscious.I squeeze his fingers, not gently. “Your Majesty, let go.”“I can’t.” His voice breaks. “Please… don’t make me watch them hurt you. Not you.”“I’m not yours to protect,” I say, more sharply than I intend. “Not right now. This is my choice.”He tries to sit up. The moment his torso lifts, pain lances through him; he gasps and his body folds, the wound tearing
