As the days went by, I discovered new roles in being Roman's fiancée, this included everything from appointments with his friends, which he didn't want to go to to be honest, to talking to his mother a few times a week, she texts me sometimes to ask how things are going, and like today in this case, she asked to have lunch with me.

I couldn't answer no, because I would have to have a plausible reason and I don't have one at the moment, so I was left with only the choice of saying that I was super available for her, as well as promising not to tell her son about this meeting.

That last part is a bit strange, what would be so important that she would not want to tell her son that she was going to meet me, it is particularly suspicious, does she intend to do something with me?

I swallow the bitter feeling in my stomach, we are in a meeting about some internal problems in the company, the room is packed with several representatives of the teams, apparently there was a leak of o
