But when opened his eyes, everything was gone.

Nothing remained.

Clive's expression froze, and he frowned. "She didn’t come! She doesn't care whether you live or die!"

"Weren't you unconscious just now?" Clive's words slipped out before he realized their unintended implication. He frowned in dissatisfaction. "Why do you need to know? Even if she did come, she didn't stay! This is so frustrating! But lucky, God is fair!”

Clive could predict that if Liam knew about this, he would think Suzy insisted on the divorce because of her inability to have children—just as he had initially thought.
