Chapter 5

    Angela Fernan

"Hey, are you sure? You're okay with this?" Meridith asks her multiple times. As she set foot in the crowded place where drunk people are everywhere, and neon lights are blinding her sights. Insuring if she's alright.

"Stop worrying, okay? I'm fine just go and have some fun. And I'm having fun here as well." I give her a reassuring smile.

I sat on the couch cross-legged and surrounded by a bunch of horny people. Yup, I'm just fine. I guess? They were in an exclusive bar, after their spa sessions. I decided to have fun and Meredith's very own definition of fun is drinking at the bar.

And I agreed with her statement. But, I guess my dress code is way inappropriate with this matter. Her bottom-up shirts and her pencil skirts, screams I should be in the office read some paper works, and go home. Grab her favorite pillow and go to sleep. Not in a bar acting like totally drunk limbo.

I let out a heavy sigh. And shrugged my shoulder, I'm here already. Guess, no need to complain might as well enjoy the moment. And pray to God that nothing should go wrong.

I keep on glancing at my phone. Checking for a message a couple of times. No, I keep on checking it every minute. Are Sebastian and Thomas is okay? I didn't hear anything from them since his last call this morning. My maternal instinct is eating her whole system, what if Thomas is suffering from sunburn right now? What if Sebastian falls asleep, and forgets Thomas. Too many what-if and dark scenarios are playing on her mind right now.

Absentmindedly she picked up a glass on the table. And drink from its bottoms up.

"Hey... T-that is mine." Meredith silently cried out loud.

After finishing the drink for her. It could consider a deadly and dangerous drink she ever tasted. I cough non-stop as if running out of breath, there's a bittersweet fire burning happening in her throat.

"W-what i-is that," I said still suffering from the surprise.

"It's Tequila Angela. Your drink is just in front of you right now." She said gesturing for the glass with blue liquid inside.

My forehead knotted I felt alienated about the beverages.

"It's ladies drink with ten percent of alcohol content and the rest is just a juice. It's perfect for ladies with low alcohol tolerance." She explained while shaking her head.

And now my head is slightly spinning the pain in her throat is slightly fading but her head is spinning. How is it possible?

"Why everything is spinning?" I raised a question with so much interest. She's starting to feel good.

"Good God! This is a bad idea," even with loud music she can still clearly hear Meredith.

"Hey, I love that music. I love my life. I love my husband." She said it out loud.

Meredith, shake her head with so much disapproval. "No, your husband is such a... jerk," she just mumbled the last words.

    "My husband what?"

"Your husband is competent. Yeah, competent and loved you." She explained.

"Yes, he is. Even though I'm worried right now. Why he is not answering my call, I didn't know what happened to them," she said with a worried voice. "Fuck, Takahashi I should be with my family right now!"

She's not the kind of person to tell others what is happening in her life right now. Especially in front of her secretary. Maybe, Tequila is doing something on her inner system.

Meredith was dumbfounded by her outburst.

"Angela? Angela Romero?" A man's baritone voice is conveying as if he is not sure if he is seeing the right person. He is standing in front of them, and I need to squint my eyes cause' the neon lights are giving her a total headache.

"It's Fernan for you, Mr.? I already give up that surname ten years ago," I said with slight annoyance.

"You are indeed the famous annoying, Angela. I know," he said happily.

    "Who are you?" I ask.

"Damn! After all those years you forgot this handsome face of mine? Your starting to annoy me little Angela." He added with a playful voice. And he came closer, and he sits comfortably beside me. The big couch she was sitting in comfortably became small because someone invaded a huge space.

"Andrew! Andrew Smith? Is that you?" I shouted with so much excitement. After I came across his dark emerald eyes, prominent nose, and lips that any woman who wishes to kiss him. She can't believe what her eyes are seeing right now.

    "At your service milady,"

"Oh my goodness! I didn't hear anything from you for such a long time. You little dimwit! After you decide to stay in Canada you little piece of a rat. You forgot me!" I exclaimed with irritation.

I can't help to punch his biceps. He just laughs at me. His handsome face shows how happy he is right now.

"I'm sorry, I need to finish my studies and make my name and conquer the courtroom."

    "Did you?" I ask excitedly.

    "Yes,"

I can't help to be happy with the news. "You are a freaking attorney, Andrew. I'm so proud of you,"

"Thank you, and I have my very own law firm. So, don't hesitate to contact me if you need me. It's the least I could do for neglecting my little Angela." He sweetly added.

I laugh at what he said. He has always been the sweetest man she knows.

"Ahh... Angela. Who is he?" Meredith interrupted their conversation?

"Oh, I'm sorry. I almost forgot. Andrew, this is Meredith, my trusty secretary slash my friend. And this is Andrew my childhood best friend." I introduce the two of them. She already sees that Meredith was into Andrew, she can see how Meredith's eyes glow because of his presence.

"Nice to meet such a fine lady like you, Meredith,"

"Me too. Nice to meet you," Meredith shyly mumbled her cheeks are rosy right now.

"I never knew, that you are already married, Angela." Andrew's voice is accusing her.

"Hey, it's your fault. You never contacted me after your grand walk out," she explained. And I can't help to pout, why everyone is pointing at me. It's not my fault.

"Fine, fine. Okay, tell me who is this lucky man," he said and pinch my cheeks.

"He is the best man I ever meet, the great and perfect man for me. His name is Sebastian, and I love him," she declared.

"Okay, spill it out we have all night here,"

I giggled and started to talk about how great my perfect family is and how amazing my husband Sebastian.
