Chapter Eighteen

ANDREA.

The day passed in a blur with nothing for me to do, I missed working on the farm and supplying the products to the orphanage. I miss my friends, I hope they are not too worried about me. It was nighttime before the Alpha finally came in, I quickly got up from the bed and stood. I didn’t want him to see me sitting on his bed, that would be like a disrespect to him.

‘Like you didn’t sleep on this same bed last night’ my subconscious mind taunted; I waved it off.

“Andrea, why are you standing?” He asked, taking his shirt off, and I quickly brought my face down with heated cheeks.

“I… I.” I opened my mouth but couldn’t say anything, so I closed it back. I don’t know what I wanted, I would rather not be in his presence and at the same time I wanted to stay close to him, sniffing his body.

“Andrea!” He called, and I snapped out of my thoughts.

“Yes, Alpha,” I answered without raising my head.

“Raise your head, Andrea.” He commanded, but I didn’t do it, I would rather not stare
