Even with the distance between us, I could recognise the couple standing with Xerxes. How could I forget them? As much as I was shocked, I was stunned to see them here. What were they doing here? Were they also one of Xerxes’s group of guests who he invited without my knowledge? Why was it looking like Xerxes was hiding something from me? Why?
