Chapter Four.

(Somewhere in Belmont,  San Francisco)

The witches of the Gemini coven were having a crucial meeting in the woods.

"Yennevia! Are you certain that the girl you saw is indeed the descendant of Cassandra Limouei??" The Elders of the Gemini coven asked Yennevia sternly while looking at her inquisitively.

"Yes, I'm very certain that she's the descendant of Cassandra, it was rumoured that Cassandra got married to a True Blood Hybrid whose name is "Claradious Dondarrion," Yennevia answered the Elders of the Gemini coven with a pause.

"Her (Angelus) last name is " Dondarrion! I'm very certain that it can't be a coincidence that her last name is also the last name of the True Blood Hybrid, Claradious Dondarrion! Besides she showed........... Yennevia said further to the Elders of the Gemini coven with a pause.

"She showed what??" The Elders of the Gemini Coven asked Yennevia anxiously with raised eyebrows while looking at her inquisitively.

"I.......I.......I.......Can't........remember," Yennevia answered the Elders of the Gemini Coven while stuttering and looking at the Elders of the Gemini Coven in fear because of what they might do to her for her not being able to remember what they needed as proof.

"What??? What do you mean by you can't remember??? Try harder!!! What did she show??? The Elders of the Gemini Coven asked Yennevia angrily.

"Yes, what did she show???" The witches of the Gemini Coven asked Yennevia, urging her to tell them what it is that Angelus showed.

"I've tried hard to remember but I just can't remember, please listen to me and believe me when I say that I know she's the descendant of Cassandra," Yennevia said to the Elders and witches of the Gemini Coven while rubbing her head in frustration.

"Fine! We believe you, it seems you were mind-controlled to forget what you saw but if what you say is indeed true then we have to make her become a member of our coven so she can take her rightful place as the Leader of our coven." The Elders of the Gemini Coven said to Yennevia sternly.

"(Sighs) Thank you for believing me, My Elders," Yennevia thanked the Elders of the Gemini Coven while smiling gratefully and sighing in relief.

"You are welcome but we've decided to give you the task of making her join her sisters and take her rightful place as leader of the Gemini Coven.'" The Elders said to Yennevia sternly.

"Me?? Why Me??? Yennevia asked the Elders of the Gemini Coven in shock.

"That's because you are the one who said she's (Angelus) Cassandra's descendant, so it is only right that you win her over and make her join us her sisters and take her rightful place as leader of the Gemini Coven." The Elders of the Gemini Coven said to Yennevia sternly.

"Yennevia, please make us proud," The witches of the Gemini Coven said to Yennevia warmly.

"I promise to win her over and make her take her rightful place as our leader! I promise to make you all proud." Yennevia said to her fellow witches solemnly.

And with that, the witches dispersed the woods.

Thirty minutes later, Yennevia was seen walking on a street.

"How do they think I'm going to win her heart?? How am I even going to start??" Yennevia asked herself while walking towards a coffee shop.

"One cup of Espresso please," Yennevia said to the coffee shop attendant as soon as she got into the coffee shop.

"Here you go," The coffee shop attendant said to Yennevia warmly while handing her the cup of Espresso.

"Thanks," Yennevia thanked the coffee shop attendant while walking towards a seat in the coffee shop.

Looking outside the window, Yennevia saw Angelus walking down the road while humming a song.

"Oh My God! Thank the Ancestors!! I've seen her, the descendant of Cassandra, I have to approach her ASAP!! Yennevia said to herself while sipping her Espresso in one gulp and exiting the coffee shop to meet up with Angelus.

Meanwhile, Angelus was walking down the road while humming a song when she felt a presence around her.

"Show yourself!! Now!! Angelus yelled angrily while stoping in her tracks.

"Are you always this scary??" Yennevia asked Angelus as soon as she came out of where she was hiding.

"No! It's just because you startled me! Angelus answered Yennevia reluctantly while gritting her teeth.

"Wow! Did I just hear you say you were startled??? Yennevia asked Angelus feeling amused by what she just heard.

"Yes, you heard right! So why were you following me in the first place and who the hell are you??" Angelus said to Yennevia while raising her eyebrows.

"I'm Yennevia and it's a pleasure meeting you," Yennevia introduced herself while stretching her hand for a handshake.

"The feeling isn't mutual so can you tell me why you were trailing me while I'm still trying to be nice??? Angelus asked Yennevia while glaring at her with suspicious filled eyes.

"Ouch! That hurts!! Couldn't you show some courtesy?? Huh?? Yennevia asked Angelus with a pause while pretending to be upset.

"I know you are just being suspicious but you can trust me," Yennevia reasoned with Angelus while advancing to put her hands on Angelus's shoulders.

"And why should I trust you??" Angelus asked Yennevia while catching Yennevia's hand, preventing it from touching her shoulders.

"Because we are sisters of the same coven!! Yennevia answered Angelus while looking at her with affectionate eyes.

"I'm sorry to pop your dream bubble but you see?? I don't belong to any coven," Angelus said to Yennevia while smirking at her.

"You are a Gemini witch! Just like your mother who was a very powerful Gemini witch," Yennevia said to Angelus while trying to convince her.

"You know nothing about my mom," Angelus said to Yennevia angrily while glaring at her in fury.

"As a matter of fact, I know! I know that your mom's name was Cassandra and she was a very powerful witch just like you!! I also know that you are the True Blood Tribrid and your magic is said to be unbelievably powerful," Yennevia said to Angelus while looking at her with affectionate eyes.

"Who....Who told you that?? What do you want from me?? Are you trying to blackmail me??" Angelus asked Yennevia angrily while bringing out her claws.

"No, I'm not trying to blackmail you," Yennevia answered Angelus warmly while stepping backwards a little away from her because she didn’t want Angelus’ claws to get anywhere near her skin.

"Then what do you want from me??" Angelus asked Yennevia while looking at her inquisitively.

"I want you to take your rightful place as leader of the Gemini Coven," Yennevia answered Angelus warmly.

"That's it?? Angelus asked Yennevia while raising her eyebrows.

"Uh-huh," Yennevia replied Angelus warmly.

"So this is the reason why you trailed me?? To recruit me as your leader??? Angelus asked Yennevia angrily while glaring at her in fury.

"Yes, Is there a problem with that?? Why are you furious all of a sudden??? Yennevia asked Angelus while looking at her inquisitively.

"What happened to the other witches of your coven?? What happened to you??? Can't you become the leader of the Gemini Coven?? Angelus asked Yennevia angrily while gripping her neck.

"As much as I'd love to be the leader of our coven?? I can't become the leader! No one can except you, Angelus." Yennevia answered Angelus in pain while trying to free herself from Angelus grip.

"What if I refuse??" Angelus asked Yennevia while smirking at her and tightening her grip on Yennevia’s neck.

"It's not in your power to refuse," Yennevia answered Angelus in pain while gasping and trying to free herself from Angelus tight grip.

"What do you mean by it's not in my power to refuse??" Angelus asked Yennevia feeling confused with what she just heard while tightening her grip harder on Yennevia’s neck.

"It's your destiny to slay the beast and you won't be able to slay the beast and fulfil your destiny if you don't take your place as leader of the Gemini Coven," Yennevia said to Angelus while struggling to be released from the perplexed Angelus grip.

"What does me becoming the leader of your coven has to do with my destiny??" Angelus asked Yennevia feeling confused with what she just heard.

”You gotta let go of my neck before I tell you anything…….I can’t breathe,” Yennevia replied Angelus in pain while gasping.

”Hmmph! Fine!! Angelus said to Yennevia while letting go of her neck.

”So I’ve let go of your neck! Now answer my question,” Angelus said further to Yennevia while glaring at her inquisitively.

"A lot! You becoming the leader of our coven will grant you power beyond your imagination and you will be able to access the Afterlife world to meet with the Ancestors," Yennevia explained to Angelus warmly.

"Are you saying I can see my mom again if I become the leader of your coven??" Angelus asked Yennevia feeling emotional.

"Yes, you can," Yennevia answered Angelus warmly.

"Then how do I become the leader of your coven??" Angelus asked Yennevia anxiously while looking at her inquisitively.

"First, You gotta get initiated and second, we perform the ritual to mark your ascension to the throne," Yennevia answered Angelus warmly.

"When do I get initiated??" Angelus asked Yennevia anxiously while glaring at her inquisitively.

"Slow down girl! Hahaha! Look at you trying to be….Anyway you should give me time to inform the Elders and the rest witches of our coven first, only then can you be initiated," Yennevia replied Angelus warmly while smiling brightly at her.

"Okay, I'll wait for you to do that but please get back to me as soon as you are done informing them," Angelus said to Yennevia warmly.

"So since we are friends now, can I know your house address and also have your cell phone number??" Yennevia asked Angelus warmly while looking at her curiously.

"Yeah, sure! Here you go," Angelus said to Yennevia warmly but a little bit sternly while giving her cell phone number and house address to Yennevia.

"Nice, so here's mine," Yennevia said to Angelus handling her a piece of paper containing her cell phone number and house address.

"Thanks, so I'll always stay in touch," Angelus said to Yennevia warmly.

And with that, Yennevia teleported away from the scene while Angelus continued walking towards home.

Three hours later, Angelus arrived at her home, she opened the door silently and tiptoed towards her room.

Just as she was about to open the door of her room, her Aunt Mia said:- "You do know that we both have supernatural hearing here, right??!! Startling her in the process.

"I know! So what??!!! Angelus asked her Aunt coldly.

"So why did you tiptoe towards your room?? Why didn't you tell me you were home??" Mia asked Angelus feeling emotional.

"Why should I tell you things when you don't tell me things either??" Angelus asked Mia angrily making Mia to be flabbergasted.

"Where is this coming from?? Why would you say such a thing to me?? Since when have I kept things from you?? Huh?? Mia asked Angelus in shock while folding her shoulders and looking at Angelus inquisitively.

"Don't you dare play dumb here! Why didn't you tell me I belong to a coven?? Why did you hide it from me?? Why?? Huh??" Angelus asked Mia angrily while advancing towards her room.

"You mean the Gemini Coven?? Mia asked Angelus while grabbing Angelus's hand, preventing her from entering her room.

"Yes, I mean the Gemini Coven! Why didn't you tell me that I belong to their coven??" Angelus asked Mia while taking Mia's hand away from her hand.

"I didn't tell you because it was not in my position to tell You! It was your Dad's dying wish!! Mia explained to Angelus while shedding tears because of the memory she just remembered.

"Cry all you want but I don't care! How can a dead man be referred to as a sleeping beauty?? Angelus asked Mia angrily while glaring mockingly at her.

"What??!! Mia asked Angelus in shock.

"Don't you dare play dumb! You knew My Father was still alive but you kept it a secret from me. How could you?? Huh?? How could you keep something like that from me??!! Didn’t you for a second think I deserve to know??!!! Didn’t you for a second think I had the right to know??!!! Angelus asked Mia angrily while glaring at her in fury.

"I didn't keep anything from you, Angelus! How will I keep something from you like that??" Mia asked Angelus feeling emotional.

"You must have a lot of nerve lying right in my face," Angelus said to Mia angrily while glaring at her in fury.

"I'm not lying to you, Angelus," Mia said to Angelus emotionally, trying to convince her while approaching her slowly.

"Stay back!! Don't you dare come close to me you liar!! Angelus yelled at Mia angrily while bringing out her claws.

"I can't do that, Angelus!! You gotta believe me when I say I didn't lie to you," Mia said to Angelus while approaching her slowly, trying to touch her face.

"I said stay back!! Impediendum," Angelus said to Mia with a pause, paralyzing her with her magic.

"Suffocant sanguinem tuum!! Angelus said to Mia further while choking her and making her to vomit blood profusely with her magic.

"Stop this, Angelus! It hurts!!! Mia said to Angelus while crying out in pain.

"Adolebitque intus," Angelus said to Mia while making her to burn internally with her magic.

"Ahhh!!!! Ahhh!!!! S....t....o.....p.....t.....h....i.....s....n....o....w!!! Please....It....It...It...hurts!!!.....I.....h..a..d...to...keep...y..o..u..r..father...being...alive...a...secret...from....you.........because...you....needed....to...move...on," Mia cried out in agony feeling the intense pain Angelus was giving to her.

"Didn't you even think that I deserve to know he was alive?? Didn't you know I had a right to know that he was alive??? Huh??" Angelus asked Mia angrily while piercing Mia’s chest with her claws, preparing to rip Mia’s heart out.

"No, I didn't think so because it wouldn't have made any difference!! Your father can't be awoken by anyone because he choosed to get desiccated forever except his one true love which is your mother wakes up from the dead which is impossible without turning her into a vampire," Mia said to Angelus in agony.

"Why didn't you tell me that's what he said while putting himself on a sleeping death?? Do you know how painful it was hearing it from another person's mouth??" Angelus asked Mia angrily feeling emotional.

"I know I was supposed to tell you about it sooner but I knew it was only going to bring nothing but pain to you, that's why I hid it from you in the first place...And about you being a Gemini witch?? I didn't tell you that either because those bastards almost killed your mother because of her powers, your mother never wanted you to know anything about them," Mia said to Angelus in an explaining manner.

"What?! They....almost killed My mother?? A member of their Coven??" Angelus asked Mia in shock while dropping down on a nearby seat because her legs were weakened because of the shock she just felt.

"Yeah, they almost did," Mia answered Angelus warmly but sadly.

"And they had the guts to ask me to become their leader after attempting to kill My mother??!! Angelus asked no one in particular angrily.

"It appears so," Mia answered Angelus while caressing her face tenderly, trying to ease her anger.

"They will pay for having that thought of killing My mother!! I'm not gonna show mercy to any one of them because they didn't wanted to show my mother any mercy." Angelus said to herself solemnly while tightening her fist.

"Just be careful because it would be you against an army," Mia said to Angelus warmly while tucking Angelus's strand of hair.

"I'll see you in the morning, I have some witches to kill," Angelus said to Mia while opening the exit door and speeding out of the house into the streets, heading towards Yennevia's house.
