Josh Bleak had been sitting in his car for heaven knows when and he does not even have a clue when he will be leaving there.

The evening was becoming chilly and he had whined up his car window.

His phone rang and it was his old man. He sighed and picked up the call.

"Hello grandpa"

"Young Man, where the hell are you? I asked you to come home to stay at home not to go stay outside. You know you are my eldest, every grandchild of mine misbehaving, learns from you because they emulate you. If you don't want me to have it hot with you, get yourself down here in immediately"

His grandfather said and hung up the call, it was just a few seconds call. When will his grandfather understand that he is not a boy anymore? Josh Bleak is almost thirty and should not be ordered around.

He pulled the phone from his ear and smiled with one side of his mouth pulled up.

"Sorry grandfather but I have to disappoint you this time around. You asked me to come down to GreyWave and here I am, what you are not going to do is order me around because I won't take it."

He adjusted his seat and made to sit up when he sighted a lady using his car glass as a mirror. He observed her and realized she was crying. The more she wiped her tears the more tears flowed.

Problems they say would never finish. On a day like this when everyone has got a hype mood, he found someone who does not share in the joy of Christmas. This is the first and might actually be the last. But what might have got her all tearing up on Christmas Eve?

She was putting on a red scarf with a long black coat, obviously, she is not putting other clothes in.

Her blonde hair was pulled up in a ponytail and she looks absolutely beautiful, only that she is a crying beauty.

He could not stand her crying and using his car glass as a mirror so he whined down and the lady who is no other person than Alex jumped in fright, it's obvious she did not know that someone was in the car and might have seen her cry.

The guy just smirked and shook his head, she saw him stretch his hand and handed her a handkerchief.

She hesitated but eventually collected the handkerchief from him.

"You don't have to use the car glass as a mirror when I have enough mirrors in the car, I could lend you one if you want"

He said and she stared at him. What the heck?

Hearing him say that made her drop the handkerchief on the ground and stepped on it. Josh stared at her like he was trying to figure her out.

How can she throw his offer to the wind? Maybe she does not like that color.

He checked her and saw that the only significant color on her outfit was red. He chuckled and gave her another handkerchief but red this time around.

She glared at him and started walking away. The handkerchief was left hanging in his hands, he had no choice but to pull his hands inside. He really did not understand her anger. Was it a crime to lend her a handkerchief to cry on? Women are so complex.

"It's freezing. You might as well want to cry in a warm place like my car instead of crying in the cold. it's going to be a bad combo, crying in the cold and being sad, it kills sis"

He yelled and she halted in her tracks. She was getting furious and Josh could tell by how she was clenching her fist. You bet he might receive a punch from her if he does not take his time.

She tried breathing in and out to come herself down. She has had enough today to be worked up by this stranger. The only mistake she made was to let him see her tears and she can tell that's why he is being an asshole.

"Don't worry I won't freeze, thanks for your concern"

She said and took a step when he spoke up again.

" Don't be proud and die. I just offer you a more comfortable way to cry in peace. I promise I won't interfere, I would not look at you nor would I try to stop you. I just think crying here is the best. After all, I want to have the privilege to watch you cry."

She was not crying anymore and her anger had gotten to the highest. This dude here deserves a punch in his face. She turned and walked back to him, Josh watched as she approached his car, he was smirking thinking that he had won. He never anticipated the punches that landed at the corner of his mouth, he gasped and gripped her hand when he saw that she was wailing in pain. He forgot his pain and laughed.

The punching princess got served. The fun part of this is he was enjoying the whole thing. He had never thought that a little act like this could get him laughing. He was supposed to be angry at her for punching him but here he is laughing his ass out.

Alex gritted her teeth and shot him the deadliest look ever.

"Naw, I am not afraid of you. I am a peaceful man. This is called karma, I only offered you help and you paid me with evil. Now karma has done justice for me. Well the offer is still open"

He said and stepped down from the car, he messaged his jaw and spat out the blood that had built in his mouth.

His friends would laugh their as*es off if they get to hear that he was punched by a lady and got wounded.

His eyes caught her fist and he saw that she had bruises. Good for her.

He opened his back door and pushed Alex inside before she could say or do anything.

He got inside and started driving away while Alex tried wrestling with him on the steering. She was not going to have it. What is he trying to do, hope he is not kidnapping her.

She ignored him totally and forced her mind to focus on how to break the news to the family. Erica appeared a moment later and sat beside Christy and gave her a sweet smile. "You can as well put a smile on your face please," Erica whispered and Christy nodded. "Shall we eat now?" Bobby said, putting his phone inside his pocket. "Of Course, we should," Mrs. Matilda responded and asked Maria to dish out the food for them. Lunch was off Black Pudding; a meal made from blood sausage of animals, cerea
