Amelia’s POV

I stared at her, stunned. "Are you seriously threatening to steal my inheritance?"

Victoria tilted her head, eyes gleaming with that infuriating smugness.

"Oh, Amelia, don’t be so dramatic. I’m just stating facts. You know my mother and our dad eat out of the palm of my hand. There’s nothing I can’t get them to do."

My throat tightened. The worst part was—she was right.

I didn’t care about the money, not really. But my mother’s house… That was different. It was my childhood home. That house had been promised to me. Written down in her will.

But my father had been living in it for years now, playing happy family with his precious Celeste. Every time I thought about fighting him for it, my courage shriveled.

"As long as I’m alive, the place is mine," he always said. And I’d never had the strength—or the stomach—for a lawsuit.

My chest ached. Was I really about to reveal Tristan’s unfaithful behavior? God. I didn’t want to. But maybe it was the only way to finally shut her

  • After My Wedding Was Stolen, I Married Ex's Uncle   Chapter 85 - Invisible Guest

Amelia’s POVRowan and I spent every spare minute of the next days in his sex room. It was as if he’d unlocked a hidden door inside me, showing me a world of pleasure I hadn’t even imagined, let alone lived.By the time I stumbled into the office each morning at Lancaster headquarters, my body was still thrumming from the night before. My clients needed me sharp, present, dependable—and I tried. God, I tried. But every spreadsheet, every phone call, every polished report blurred into flashes of rope against my skin, his low commands in my ear.And whenever Rowan came to "check on me" in the office, the game started all over again. His knock would sound, I’d glance up, and there he’d be—tall, self-assured, eyes glittering with the kind of hunger that set my pulse sprinting. Sometimes he only stood there, smirking, as if daring me to think of the night before. But more often, he didn’t give me a choice. He’d shut the door with a quiet click, cross the room in two strides, and sudden

"What kind of man do you take me for?" Rowan said, his eyes shining with amusement and something much, much darker. "Of course I have a sex room."My pulse thundered with shock and anticipation. But I couldn't help the insecurity curling sharp and tight in my stomach. After just seeing all those photos in Sienna’s room…Before I could stop myself, the words left my mouth: "How many women have you taken here? Is this where you and Sienna—""Amelia." Rowan lifted a hand. "Don’t."He closed the distance between us until his breath brushed my forehead, forcing me to look up at his towering figure."This," he said slowly, "used to be my man cave. Where I came to escape from Sienna and her endless galas, her shallow friends, her champagne-soaked world."A small, breathy "Oh…" escaped me.His mouth curled into the faintest smirk. "But when I decided you should live here… this idea hit me. So I had this room redone. For you. And, well," His tone dipped to a teasing murmur, "a little for me

  • After My Wedding Was Stolen, I Married Ex's Uncle   Chapter 83 - Haunted by Her

Amelia’s POVI pulled into the ridiculously massive garage, the engine of the ridiculously expensive Porsche humming into silence. Victoria’s voice still echoed in my head like poison.‘Sugar daddy.’I gripped the wheel tighter. God, was that what we looked like to everyone else? Some shallow, transactional arrangement? Even his mother thought so. Even Sienna.I blew out a shaky breath and climbed out.The villa loomed before me—silent, intimidating, and… empty. Rowan was still at work.Since I had nothing else to do, and my mind was too restless to sit still, I decided to wander. Explore. After all, I’d barely seen a quarter of this place. The hallways seemed endless, each turn revealing something more extravagant than the last. An indoor gym the size of a professional studio. A sauna complex that smelled faintly of cedar. A cinema room with seats that looked softer than my own bed.I lost track of time, drifting through his world like a ghost. My footsteps echoed faintly, as thoug

Victoria’s POVI was still coughing up dust by the time I stumbled into the marble foyer of Tristan’s villa. My heels clicked furiously on the tiles, every step an outlet for my rage. "That fucking bitch," I muttered under my breath, the coughs punctuating each word.Tristan’s voice drifted from his study, warm and oblivious. "Baby?" He appeared in the doorway, his shirt undone at the collar, a concerned crease between his brows. "Your cough got worse again. Are you alright?"He came to me quickly, taking me into his arms. He kissed me, and his hands immediately started roaming where they definitely shouldn’t. Not now.I shoved him back with both palms. "Don’t you dare."He froze, blinking at me. "What? What’s wrong?""I know what you’ve been up to, Tristan," I said in between coughs—exaggerating them, just a little, for effect."All those ‘late nights at work’? This morning’s ‘meeting’? I know the truth. You’ve been stalking her."His face went pale. "Stalking… who?" His laugh was

Amelia’s POVAs I drove toward the construction site, my heart raced with exhilaration. The leather seat hugged me like I belonged in it, the engine purred under my touch, and the dashboard shone with luxury. This was by far the fanciest, sexiest car I’d ever driven.Rowan was insane. Truly insane. Who just hands someone a car like it’s nothing? But then again… he had more than he could ever use. Still, every new thing he gave me made the question burn hotter: what does all of this mean? The way he’d looked at me this morning, the way he’d flipped pancakes shirtless like some domestic dream, the way he’d moved me into his house, into his office, into his life. And that kiss before I left—God. Did he… feel more for me than he dared to say?But Tristan’s words came back to me like a thorn. "I love you. Has he ever said those words to you?"My grip tightened on the steering wheel. Why did Tristan have to be so damn insistent? Couldn’t he see I was with Rowan now—even if… it wasn’t of
