Chapter 26 - You are beautiful

Taking his hand in hers, Sharon guided him to the stairs. Gordon watched her walk in front of him as she led him up the stairs and down the hallway to his own room. She didn't look back at him; instead, she turned the knob, opened the door, and brought him into the room.

Sharon?" he said softly. She looked up at him, almost as if she had forgotten he was there.

"Yeah," she asked, chewing her top lip.

"Have you ever... done this before?"

She dropped her gaze, thinking of the reputation she had around the school. "No, I haven't."
