Dante:

The man’s words played in my head as I opened my eyes the next morning. My vision blurred as the light hit my eyes, and the headache that formed afterwards didn’t help much, but that was the last thing that I could care to think about right now.

My heartbeat was calm, and my wound bandaged, and despite just waking up, I couldn’t help but think of the topic. The man’s words played in my head regardless of whether or not I was exhausted.

I hissed, sitting up on the bed to frown when I couldn’t find Aurora anywhere. I knew that she came to my side somewhere in the night. My wolf only relaxed upon feeling her presence close to me, and judging by the fact that my wolf was as calm despite being in distress, I knew that it was due to her being by my side.

The fact that I knew that she was at risk of almost losing our baby last night didn’t help me much, and knowing that Leonardo would have done everything possible to prevent that didn’t help me either. In other words, I knew that

Another twist! Did Giovanni play Dante’s mother? Perhaps Gio told Dante’s mom that his 1st wife and son died ? I’m not sure but wow this story is a nonstop mystery! Loving it! Can’t wait for the next update! Thanks!
